This shelter came with the place I bought almost 3 years ago, no idea how old it was before that but it finally gave out. It was easy to order from the tag inside, came fast too. Only two things, I hated that sandstone was the only color for the cheaper one, I really wanted the gray one. Also they sent me promo code Welcome10 and it didn't work had to ordered without it.ShelterLogic Corp. Response

***** Carport 12x20x09 Charcoal BKP Tried to buy a second one of these to match my first: good price, free shipping. But, after ordering and paying, received a call from the shipping company requiring me to meet them somewhere to pick up the carport. I have no way of hauling it. Shipper said they'd make arrangements to use a smaller truck and would call me back. Next thing I knew, shipping company had told ***** I had canceled or refused or something, and my order would be returned to *****. ***** chose the wrong shipping company and now can't/won't make any other arrangements to get the carport to me. ***** says I must wait to receive the refund until after the carport arrives back at *****, which is obviously out of my control. Beware of *****'s "free" shipping. That does not always mean what it is supposed to mean. In this case, it means "no shipping" at all and no carport for me. Even their invoice and order confirmation said it would be shipped via ***** Ground, but ***** used **** Trucking instead--a company that, unlike *****, will not deliver to me. When selecting a shipping company, ***** should ensure that the goods can actually be delivered by them. It's not that hard to do, and it would result in not losing a sale or a customer's good will or damaging their reputation.ShelterLogic Corp. Response

We are sorry to hear about your experience with us. As previously stated, our Carports are delivered via freight trucks and to safely deliver they need to make sure they can get down your street and turn around. If they are not able to do so based on the location, they will ask the consumers to meet at the closet terminal to pick up the product. Many of our customers do pick up their product at the nearest terminal when the cargo cannot reach their desired shipping location for Safety reasons. Again, we appreciate your feedback and will be using this proactively.

This information is what I have suggested to your reps that you add to your website and to your spiel when offering free shipping. It was NOT stated before you accepted my order and my payment. If it HAD been stated on your website or by your representative, I could have made other arrangements--by ordering from someone else. While my review was on ******* site for two days over a weekend, it was apparently removed. When I inquired about its removal, I was told: "So it is very well still up and can be seen be other customers. ??" Since I could not find it on their site, I asked for and was promised a link. Instead I got images of my feedback and ******* response. No link. My feedback on BBB is only to help other potential customers know that they may not get what they order and may not receive shipping at all when ordering from Shelter Logic. This important information cannot be found on Shelter Logic's site, but customers should be aware of this, and the BBB's site is apparently the only place they will be able to find it.Review from Catherine R

We purchased a ShelterLogic 3-in-1 tent in November to serve as a garage for a new car. Set-up was a bit un-user-friendly, but we got it up. For a month it stayed up, and then it got windy (peaking at 45 mph). One of the metal poles BENT in the wind, and the whole structure failed, caving in and scratching up the new car (over $6,000 worth of damage). We took the tent down and won't ever be using it again. Did not protect car as we thought it would. ShelterLogic did not provide a refund (offering only a 30% discount on a future purchase (which I won't use)), saying the incident was due to acts of nature, and suggested asking ******** (where I purchased the tent) for a refund. If they use "shelter" in their name, one would think that the structure is meant to offer some protection. It does not. ShelterLogic offers neither shelter NOR logic. If whoever is reading this review is considering getting a ShelterLogic tent, I would recommend NOT getting one. Save your $300 or spent it on a different company. Please note that our warranty department does work hard to treat every claim fairly and consistently, which is why they did not approve your claim due to it being an (Act of Nature) and acts of nature are not cover under the manufacturer's warranty. Please understand that we cannot provide a refund for products purchased through third parties (retail stores) because we have not collected any funds directly. Lastly, we do offer live load rated shelters that are more suitable to your specific needs. For assistance in your search, please feel free to call us at ***************

I had a problem with a broken zipper on the door of my shelter. I needed a replacement door. I called the customer service number and spoke with Rachel. She was so helpful. She sent me an email that outlined what they needed to process the request for the replacement door - 1) receipt, 2) photos of the problem, 3) my phone number, 4) my address. I responded with all of the necessary information. I received a response right away (within 2-5 minutes) and it had a shipping invoice showing that the new door would be processed for shipping within 1 day. Her email asked me to verify that the invoice was correct - it was. There was no charge for the new door and I should have it within a few days. If I were you, I would go with a different company. We bought a shelter logic tent to serve as a storage shelter for a car. We bought it via ******* And of course the shelter started ripping and tearing at the curved beams on the roof. The tears appeared after three months. And of course, how convenient because ****** doesn’t honor a refund after three months. After filing a claim for the warranty with the company, they said they cannot refund us our money, and that they are only willing to replace the shelter that came apart or give us an upgrade. Obviously, we don’t want anything to do with this company because the quality spoke for itself. If they were a reputable company that actually stood by their products, they would give us a refund, considering how much money we are now out. To say we are disappointed is minimal. Just another company taking advantage of customers in a sluggish economy. And of course, once we looked even harder into reviews for the shelter, we got, other customers had the exact same problem we did. Good luck.ShelterLogic Corp. Response

I bought the garage in a box in October 2022 . I have it in a fairly sheltered location and have it well anchored with ********* pails full of gravel! In late summer the Eastern to Southeast side developed pin holes and some rips at the post corners The customer service and warranty team were great to work with in getting a replacement cover within the warranty time They explained in detail options for a thicker material with a longer warranty for an additional cost I have suggested a thicker material for the garage in a box or provide an alternative product with a thicker material Easy to assemble with two people Perhaps just an education on the different products is needed All in all a good product for the purpose it is intendedShelterLogic Corp. I required some replacement parts for my ShelterLogic frame. I received notice that the one piece was no longer available. When I responded them that my shed was only five years old the person handling my order did some more research and was able to secure the part for me.ShelterLogic Corp. Response
