Pella NY/CT serviced by DHD Windows and Doors LLC offers the worst possible service you could imagine. They changed my install date numerous times and did not even let me know of the last date change- even after it was confirmed a few days prior!!! Additionally, they were going to charge me a labor fee of $450+ to install the three replacement sliding door panels (under warranty). This charge was NEVER mentioned to me and I would not have agreed to it! Because of the numerous install date changes and lack of communication, they agreed to install for $200 as communicated by their service manager via email. Pella finally arrived today- 4 months after my appointment to evaluate the failing doors! The charge to install was $550!!!!! Clearly, Pella internal communication is inadequate. Additionally, they treat their customers poorly and as if they are doing us a favor for speaking with us. Everything was an issue! I am appalled that a large company, such as Pella, could succeed in business. The service is deplorable and let's not foget that their doors have already failed TWICE in a short span of a few years. I would recommend you take your business elsewhere. Shame on you Pella and DHD. Caveat Emptor. I had no choice but to leave one star- which they do not even deserve!!!!

I had a door installed by a 3rd party contractor on behalf of ***** on 9/13/2019. To date, I’m still trying to get the screen door installed that was botched up in 2019. I’ve scheduled 4 service calls with them, and 3 times they showed up to my home with missing or incorrect parts. The last time, they just didn’t show. We spent $7500.00 on the door which has been an overall mistake, since it was bait & switch. I will be taking them to small claims court!
