As you said in our quote to us (August 19, 2019) "We are a small business and in order to keep our prices below our competitors..." We need prompt payment. We, the customer, in turn expected quality work from your family to ours. To say the least, we are very disappointed in your response to our problem. Or should I say lack of response. Your company was the one we trusted our home to and the only one that has worked on our chimney...until now. I called ************ on September 3, 2021 and described our problem in a voicemail and expected you to come out and examine the issue. I didn't receive a return call. I called again on September 8, 2021 and forgot to leave my address. Irene called back at 1:45 pm, 9/8/2021 (I still have her voicemail recording on my phone) and I gave her the address and she said that you would be out in a couple of days. Again, I never heard back from you. We gave up on expecting you to respond, so we went with a different company to resolve the issue. Your quote said the cement crown was to be refaced but you can see in the "cracked crown" photo the crown still had a crack. The crack in the crown extended from the front of the chimney all the way to the back right next to the flu. The crack continued down through a number of bricks and water eventually leaked into the room below damaging the ceiling (Photos available for BBB that I sent to them) The color of the cement used to point the bricks did not come close to matching the original color (Look closely at the "Chimney photo" and you can see the different cement colors.) The company we hired to do the repair said "it looks like they didn't even try to match it." I agree. This is the third time I'm trying to resolve this issue with your company. Obviously you no longer have an opportunity to correct it. The only resolution now is to refund the $1,050 that we paid you for the incompetent work you performed. I have sent basically this email to them 3 times.
