On July 14, 2023, a representative from the Glass Doctor came to my home to measure for replacement glass for a window. Since I called the Reynoldsburg phone number listed on-line, I was surprised to hear from the repairperson that he was on his way back home to Cleveland. The cost for replacement glass in a 26.5 x 30 inch window was 558.76 and I paid 290.00 as a down payment for work that was promised in a 2 week turnaround time. The receipt did not list the person's name, and multiple subsequent calls to the Central Ohio phone number were made. Each time, I was told it would be 2 more weeks, and that they would contact me. on feb 1st Glass Doctor came and measured our window for replacement. Because it was tempered glass we were told they would order but it would take 2-3 weeks. it took 5 and when tech came out to place glass panel he shattered it. We were told it would not take long to get new replacement and that we should have it by March 27th 2023 which was about two weeks ..it is now April 16th have not heard from them -called repeatedly and asked to please speak to a manager--assured they would contact me but NEVER did so..We had to give half the cost for this window and are on fixed income and cannot afford to go elsewhere. This company has terrible service with the exception of the girls answering the phone -they have been kind and understanding but unfortunately their managers are just awful and not one has bothered to follow thru.. All I asked for was some reassurance,,I would never recommend this company to anyone. I am calling again tomorrow to see if any update and if not I want a refund as I cannot afford to just throw away my deposit...Review from Ricky M

I have had the worst experience with the glass doctor of northeast Ohio. The tech cones to fix my rear driver side window and did not have his shop vacuum. So after he fixed my window the glass inside the door broke my regulator. I continued to call them to speak with a manager to get some of my money back. The supervisor sent my info to the manager and said they would let me know when they receive the regulator to come fox my door. This was a Friday I didn't hear from the supervisor until the following Tuesday. Ahe told me that it would be a few days before they got the part but they would call me. I didn't hear from them again until next Thursday when the tech was calling saying he was on the way. I said uhhh no I still have not heard from the manager and I spoke to 3 people who claim they sent my info to him and spoke to him personally about this. Further more the following week mow today Thursday and they calling me again talking about they have me on the schedule again. And I'm like this is crazy no one calls to confirm appointments and I still have yet to hear from the manager regarding how horrible this experience and service has been.Review from Peter J

* My mother age 86 called Glass Doctor after the police broke her window to get in after she fell and broke her hip. As an old woman she didn’t know what price would be right for a small pane window. The agent charged her $378 for a 8” x 10” window, the price of a whole new door. Not only did they over charge; they never did the work. Lastly, they never did the work (it’s been 4 months). She’s too old to take them to small claims court. Shame on this sham outfit!Review from Benjamin H

After having my windshield replaced by the Glass Doctor i noticed that the outer edge lining around the windshield was not sealed down and was sticking up after 4 attempts to resolve this issue with them that require me to go back out to their business location each time and they still could not complete the job (the lining was still sticking up after each visit to them) i was told by an technician over the phone that he was out of town but would get back with me and take care of this issue, he never got back with me after more than a week or more so i have taken my car to my dealership to take care of this issue paying out of my pocket. I dont want to make this a racial issue but the impression that i got from this business is that being who i am (A black Man) that my business does not matter them and that is the reason they never got back with me and never resolved this issue. Because of this issue this has been a very frustrating and disturbing experience for me.Review from Raymond S

I arranged to have my Car window replaced. They quoted me a price of $285.93. When the technician arrived, he said $421. I had recorded the conversation with the original quote and they reluctantly agreed. The tech complained about it hurting his commission. He then broke the window while installing it. I went to the manager and she was less than helpful. She wanted to charge me the $400 price, instead of the original agreement. She was clearly in breach of contract and possibly guilty of bait and switch. The tech didn't even put the door back on properly and got an attitude when I questioned him. This is the WORST BUSINESS EVER. Do not patronize them. They don't care about Customer Service at all. I plan to reach out to their Corporate office and possibly take them to small claims court for the damagesReview from Reshia B

Glass doctor seems to be ok until it comes to the customer services aspect. I set up my last appointment with the glass doctor after ordering and it came in to the shop 2 weeks later (it takes 2 weeks to order). They gave me a date of September the 3rd is when they could come out (at this point it's 3 weeks later) But not knowing they are only available 8am - 5pm (I work 8am to 4pm sometimes 5pm) The time frames are from 8am to 12pm and 12:30p to 5pm. I picked afternoon due to needing to find someone to sit at my home. Once I figured out who could help with being at my home while at work. I called back to glass doctor to try to get a morning slot the lady said she was unaware of the availability with the tec so she said she would leave me in with the 12:30 to 5pm time slot to make sure I still had an appointment for that day but also tried to see if she could get a tec to come for the morning slot because that's what I really needed. The operator said she would have someone call back once they had some notification of what was gonna happen. I never got a call back till the day of the appointment(sep 3rd) at 10:58am im not able to pick my phone up at work so I missed the call (they call from several different numbers so your unsure who is calling when they call) and they said they left a voice-mail which they couldn't due to my voice-mail being full and they knocked at my door but I was at work which I informed them eveytime I talk to someone from glass doctor prior to this appointment and with my appointment being at 12:30pm to 5pm my mother showed to my house at 12:20pm to make sure she was there for the appointment. Something told me to call and make sure every was all good to go and I find out when calling in (while cooking at work) that my afternoon appointment has been taken out of the books and I have not been notified till the morning of them showing to my home. They have let Me know they can't get nobody back out to my house today so now they are trying to set up another appointment during my work hrs and in the middle of next week when they are the ones who messed up my appointment. It was hard for me to get this set due to switching around another person life so. After talking with the manager and she was not with will to help with the situation she just kept saying we called you multiple times today. I let her know do you understand you have to let someone know that the appointment was approved to be switched so I can have the person at my house when they show other then that I'm still thinking my appointment is betwee 12:30 to 5pm. I just wanted to cancel and take my glass with me at this point to much confusion and don't trust they with be at my next appointment without an excuse. Currenly looking for another company to install the glass I bought from glass doctor. I just need to still pick it up form them.. very unprofessional. GLASS DOCTOR NEVER SEEN A PROBLEM WITH SWITCHING MY APPOINTMENT WITHOUT NOTIFICATION.
