We hired a videographer for our wedding and have been waiting over a year to receive our video from our wedding. The reason I did not file a complaint earlier was because I was afraid we would never see our wedding video and/or that it would be used as leverage against us (compromising its quality etc). I had been in contact with the videographer up until the year **** of when our wedding was. We asked to receive our wedding video before the year **** or else get a discount for such a long delay. ***** and ***** ALWAYS had some reason/excuse of why it was taking more time and using life events as reason for delays which we had been understanding through all of it. However, it got to the point where my husband demanded a refund since we still has not seen a glimpse of our video and upon demanding either the video footage or our money back ***** and ***** both changed their tune and said that they never received full payment for the video. To make matters worse, they both now ghosted us and have not been returning any of our texts and phone calls. I was pregnant during this time so all of this was very stressful and frustrating. I have some transactional proof of payment however the other portion of payment had been by cash by my mother on the day of my wedding . I was present and others were witnesses to ***** stating They needed the final payment before proceeding minutes before the ceremony started with my mother handing him the cash. I tried to seek video footage from the venue but she stated they did not hold long term footage. Please help us with this matter. It is not right for someone to treat customers/people like this, flat out scamming them and being deceitful. I have not turned to publicly sharing this information in hopes of hurting their business, I have tried to be amicable throughout all of this, however, having someone flat out steal our money is wrong and I am hoping to have your help so that they cannot do this to someone else. It is not right.
