Both **** Pack Rat and Zippy Shell (sister companies) provided terrible service. After my items were damaged due to the movers negligence, they have yet to provide me with reimbursement / solution for the claims that I filed back in October and November of 2021, four months ago. The monetary worth of damages does not exceed the protection amount of 10k worth of damages that I purchased from them. I have provided them with the required documents that state the current-day value along with pictures which capture all the damaged items. They have not been responsive to my emails after I have called them to account on exceed their 90 days of investigation process except to say that I should hear back from them in the near future - the response that I have been receiving for almost a month now. When I finally spoke to someone over the phone from their claims department, they stated that the reason as to why they are taking so long in responding is because they are getting in touch with the local movers they hired to see if my claims are true. EVEN THOUGH I called them as the damages took place and took pictures of everything that was damaged by them as they loaded my items into the truck and then once the delivery arrived with the crushed boxes and items. They still feel the need to confirm with the juvenile children that they subcontracted for my move to see if my claims are true. They are dismissing the fact that it was those very ill-trained children who nonchalantly mentioned to me the damages they caused on the 40-year-old piece of furniture that was very much in mint condition prior to this damage. I have documented all of this with email correspondence and pictures and yet they still think that I am possibly fabricating all of this. I will report them to governing federal agencies regardless of the claims solution so that they can be investigated and hopefully their reputation continues to decline as they rightfully deserve.
