Business ProfileforBlarney Island

I was hired as part of a team throwing an event at their establishment. We were treated extremely unfairly. The inhumane conditions we endured for 14 hours while running the event were horrible. They had us stuck on the "island" with no where comfortable to sit, no shade. They took all of our water and food so we would have to buy theirs. Shuttles did not run on their announced schedule. But what's truly worse was how the staff and owners treated us the whole time. The owner was extremely aggressive, rude and antagonistic from the moment we arrived. The threatened to kick us out in the middle of the show. They interrupted peoples performances to start a physical altercation with the artists and crew. They also are withholding several peoples property after they were kicked out over a verbal disagreement. A small claim is being filed for that, however it wouldn't be nessecary if the business could be professional and reasonable to return their property. I personally felt threatened and feared for my safety while I was there as security was threatening us with physical violence on several occasions during the day. Being trapped on their island was a terrible terrible experience that many people have shared both that day and in pervious incidents with Blarney Island. In this economy, there is no room for a business to be so evil to their customers, let alone to the people promoting and preforming at their establishment.
