My townhouse had a frozen pipe burst in late December Stellar, my HOAs contracted property management company, sent out some plumbers, who fixed the issue A downstairs and adjacent neighbor reported water coming into his garage for months afterwards but refused to do anything about it He repeatedly blamed me for the water and complained to Stellar Stellar, using hearsay and zero evidence, blamed me for the leak and threatened me with an attorney *********************************, the president of Stellar, lied to me various times in the communication on the attached He claimed that my neighbors units had already been looked at and that my unit was responsible for the ongoing leak A plumber came and looked at all 3 units, admitted that my downstairs and adjacent neighbors unit had not previously been looked at, and determined that the leak was not coming from my unit The leak, the source of which was my downstairs neighbors shower, was repaired I inquired into why ****** had lied to me He refused to answer my questions, became ***** very quickly, and issued charges on my account hinting at penalties for late payment He is still trying to get me to pay for a work order that didnt involve a contractor coming to my unit Travelers, my insurance company, determined that Im not liable for the my neighbors damages from the original leak (my burst pipe) I dont believe Im responsible for pay for this work order and that ****** knows this I believe hes being spiteful and is going after me for pointing out that he had defrauded me Stellar has a history of this kind of thing The first time I spoke with ****** on the phone, he randomly insulted my neighbors and said that its too bad I cant choose [my] neighbors I dont believe my HOA should have a contract with a company that operates like this Id like it to be on record that Stellar is a dishonest and ***** business
