    I lived in an apartment that ******************************* was renting out for three months (June 2nd to August 31). Within this time, he refused to send me a lease, refused to fix several issues (unusable sink, rodents in ceiling, ceiling damage caused by rodents/rain leaking, roaches, broken cabinets, etc.) I asked him constantly over the three months I lived there to PLEASE fix what was wrong. Either empty promises were made or radio silence until an excuse was made. Now that I have moved out (due to his lack of responses and empty promises), and left the apartment in perfect condition, he is not responding to me about returning my $850 security deposit. I have tried to schedule a move-out walkthrough with him (due to his shady behavior) but he declined. He said he would conduct a walkthrough sometime on September 1st. He has not contacted me since then, even after I have tried to get ahold of him. It has now been two weeks since I have moved out. No return of security deposit, which should be relatively simple to do since all payments have been conducted through Venmo. I have given him until September 23rd to return my deposit before I take legal action. $850 is no small sum of money.
