              I was very specific on wanting to check if my wife and I could have children naturally and told them that's all we wanted to do before we committed to any alternative treatments such as the *** procedure, they set us up for some tests then blood work , me trusting they were doing what I asked. Then I got an outrageous **** for my wife's blood work and find out they did genetic testing that was standard for people who want the *** procedure only we didn't commit to that , I'm expecting another **** soon in for my blood work . They did not explain any costs or procedure just tried to set us up with appointment after appointment. I did not pay anything and I will not! I did not agree to what they did. My wife's first language in not English and that was the first thing we told them, and they should contact me for decisions which they did not.

              BEWARE OF BILLING DEPARTMENT AND HOW THEY **** YOUR INSURANCE!!I had a genetic test ordered by Chicago IVF. Before viewing my results with Invitae, the genetic testing lab performing the test and giving me my results, I was presented with the option of going through insurance or self-pay. I chose the self pay method of $250. 3 weeks later Chicago IVF billed my insurance $12,499 dollars for the test that was already paid for with self pay. The balance due was adjusted to $1885.39. Chicago IVF is now billing me for the $1885.39. When I complained that the lab testing was already paid through Invitae with self-pay, they had Invitae refund my $250 dollars so they could justify their submission to my insurance stating I shouldn't have been given the option for self pay. Ridiculous.
