    I received a March 2023 bill regarding a new interest charge of ******** on my bill due to an expired promotional plan that I was never informed when I purchased my pet back in 2021 at the Hoffman Estates. No employee or paperwork informed me of such a fee. Had I been informed, I would have never opened a charge card. I was told because we were in Pandemic time, that there was zero interest period.My requirement is to removed the unagreed interest charge, so that I can pay my old full balance prior to this new charge, to pay it in full as soon as this is resolved. This uninformed interest charge for 2 grand feels like I am being financially fooled, financially raped.I called the service number on the back of my statement ************ and by 3 by different people who asked for my personal credentials, only to then be hung up on.I call the Hoffman Estates location, making it very clear to the employee who did not want to give me her name, that her manager's first name,is **** from Hoffman Estates location. Employee gave me a service number ************, with that I did not get to speak to anyone.

    Hello everyone, I wanted to come on social media and share my story. On November 30th I purchased a shihpoo puppy from my local Petland in Hoffman Estates ********. At the time of sale they said the puppy was completely healthy & ready to come home. Unfortunately things took a dark turn on December 21st just 2 weeks after ***** came home with me. He become very painful to the touch & would cry out because of all the pain he was in. We rushed him over to the vet where they gave him pain killers and they sent him back home. After a couple hours however the pain killers would go down and hed be in pain again. We would then call our primary vet where they kept ***** for a couple hours. We received a call where they told us ***** needed to be seen by a specialist because he was only getting worse. At this point we were at our 3rd animal hospital of the day, this is where they told us ***** was doing so much worse & his pain was progressing. We were given 3 options, they could run tests ( MRIS,X-RAYS, ETC ) for a price of $13,000.00, keep ***** alive on the pain killers he was previously given, or he could be put down. The vet did let us know she could run all the tests possible but that would only put ***** in more pain & it was only a slight chance that they would help find what the source of his pain was. Keeping him alive on the pain killers would only do so much & wouldnt be very humane. So we made the hard and final decision of putting our 3 month old pup down. We still owed Petland the $4450.00 that ***** cost as he was bought with an in store credit card. I called and filed claims left and right until they finally got back to me on Feb 18th to tell me that I would only be able to receive store credit for another dog.At this point this was the only thing we could do to not let our money go to waste. The Petland claim representative told me I had only 3 days to purchase another dog due to an ******** law being passed that prohibits these stores from selling pupp
