I had an unfortunate experience with Whirly Ball. I booked my daughters 10th birthday party with WB. My **************** had a great time until we were threatened by your management team. I came downstairs to make my final payment with a manager. Unfortunately, while I was downstairs your server/hostess was rude to my daughters friends (children). The statement she made was pick up your cupcakes and exit now. When I arrived back upstairs my significant other addressed the server, asking her to speak to adults not the children. Further explaining to her that her behavior was rude & insulting. When we went back downstairs to speak with your leadership team. The statement was made let me give you the low down, theyre busy and not coming down. Not sure what low down means. My aunt who is 60+ years old told the manager she would take the matter further - corporate if necessary. Your manager, put her hands in the air and yelled leave now or Im calling the police. We were all confused because no crime was committed. We simply wanted your hostess to apologize for her rude behavior. Furthermore your security on staff addressed ** as angry ghetto black people and hostile. Suggesting me didnt have the right to be upset. My family is from the Northside of Chicago. **** never lived in a ghetto. I reached out to the Whirly Ball team. I havent received any feedback. The manager who threatened to call the police was confident that she knew the owners and this behavior was ok.

Our team successfully hosted the groups event on Saturday June 10th from 3pm - 4:30pm for *******'s 10th Birthday. The guest provided high remarks on their post event survey for Activity, Food, Beverage, and Booking Experience. Issues occurred at the conclusion of the event when our team asked the group to depart from the private area they reserved as their time had concluded and needed to prepare the space for the next event. The father of the group became argumentative following our team member's request for the kids to head out of the area. According to our team the father tried to grab our team member's arm trying to force this individual out of the space they were trying to clean and prevent them from completing their work as the guest felt they could stay in the space as long as they wanted. We host multiple events per day and needed this space for the next party.

The guests (father and mother **************) demanded to speak with the leader of the location in which our management team stepped in to speak with the parents. The focus by the guests was that our team needed to apologize for being rude to the kids but the guest continued to get elevated preventing the ability for our management team to work on resolving the matter. Due to their aggressive behavior our team asked the guests to leave the property in which they refused. Following our Assistant General Manager stated the guests to please leave or we will need to contact the police given the elevated and unsafe environment you have created within the venue.
