    Hired for a move from ********, ** to ******, **. September 1, 2022 move in date. Paid premium to be moved in before Labor Day. Total charges $26,962. $4000 of this amount was the premium move in fee. During move-in one of the employees from Joeys Movers became verbally hostile and border line physical with me when discussing the move-in procedure. No real reason for his behavior at all. I was going to call police but was worried the employee would then be remaining in the area and knows where we live. I asked him to finish the move and then when done I called ****** my main contact to inform him of the hostile encounter. We discussed the situation and to compensate me for the issue we agreed that Joeys Movers would refund 50% of the $4000 premium move in fee I paid since I did not receive actual premium move in service. This was more than reasonable on my part. I could have asked for full refund for entire move. I was told I would be paid in the first week of October. I have not been paid. Repeated requests for the payment have not been answered and ****** only communicates via text despite repeated requests to discuss this with me live on phone. I have informed him that I am filing complaint with BBB. I could have called the police and this matter would have been far worse for him, the employee and company. I did not. I should have. I would like the amount we agreed upon. $2000. He has copies of all work orders.

    I called Joeys movers on Tuesday 4-16-24 4:38pm talked to ***. Asked *** about a quote. *** stated that they were very busy and could only do a virtual quote. I said ok, and if 4:30 was too late. *** replied that it was fine. And that I would get a text at that time.. I never got a text or call. I called Wednesday 11:17am talked to *** again, I assume this is the son of the late *********************. I let *** know that I waited for a text at 4:30 and never received one. *** apologized and set up a time for another text and or virtual call 4-17-24. Never got a text or call. I called Friday 12:45 talked to *** again, this time *** tells me to call when I get in from work. I called exactly 4:30 talked to ***, called him *** by mistake. *** asked me if I had a iPhone I told him yes. *** told me to give him 5 minutes. Well I waited 20 minutes, then I called back *** answered and I told ***. I might have gotten your name wrong but I know what 5 minutes is. I asked *** was there a problem with giving me service. *** said it's not that, I replied because you had me waiting twice before and never text or called like you said you were. I let *** know that **** movers were highly recommended. And that I knew the late ********************* owner. I asked if I could speak with someone higher up. *** replied no, I stated "you must be the son". *** went on to say "can I say something". He'll call me back in ***** minutes. By this time I've had it with *** and his inconsiderate behavior and being unprofessional. I told ******** don't have to put up with this to spend my money and I hung up. Will be using a different moving company. *** sent me 2 text, really now you send me a text! from a (decline Move)***************************. ***. ****'s Movers Do Not Reply!!! Really *** you are a Joke!!! Good Luck to you!!!!
