BUYER BEWARE I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend County Wide Landscaping. The owner, ***********************, is so unprofessional and rude. He and I both signed a contract to have County Wide demo my old deck and then put in a new paver patio. Nowhere in the contract did it say they werent liable for damage done to my house during deck demo. I brought up the situation to ***** because his workers did do damage to my window and door frames. He did not want to take responsibility for this issue and was in breech of contract at one point because he threatened to not allow his workers to continue at my house. After many emails to ***** and the office staff stating that we both signed a contract for the work to be done, the workers did show up the next day. ****** only saving ***** for me not cancel the contract was ***, ****** and the workers. *** talked through the issue with me and ****** and the workers did a beautiful job, but because of how rude and unprofessional the owner is, this review is not to recommend County Wide. ***** needs to learn how to speak professionally and politely to the people paying his salary, the customers.

    County Wide Landscaping, Inc. Response

    10/15/2022

This is *********************** responding. I understand ****** opinion and I feel bad that she feels that way, and even worse that she felt the need to exaggerate the story to make me out to be a horrible person and business owner. Unfortunately after being in this business for over 20 years, I have learned alot of hard lessons. One of which is social media platform, while it does some good for sharing business and earning it also is an open platform to bash hard working, honest businesses, when a homeowner doesnt get there way, and unfortunately there is no fact checking so they can say whatever they want and then to some people it is views as an honest review.Truth be told, on the phone with *** my employee and *****, we tried to calmly explain to her that her deck was attached to the house, and when we remove a deck the aluminum cladding bends, and creases. That needs to be replaced regardless if it gets damage or not, because the new steps will be constructed 7 below the height of the deck. However after *** first tried to explain and got nowhere I was called, and when I tried to explain it was quite obvious that she wasnt going to be happy unless all the trim around the bottom and sides of door was replaced with new. She also stated that her guy would need to be paid whatever the cost was by us.I didnt argue I said thats fine, but we wont come tomorrow until we know what the cost is. That made her even more angry, and the conversation ended. She then emailed 1 time the same night, and I responded to the email, just stating our side of the situation, if her contractor comes back and says it $3,500.00 to replace the minor damaged trim that would be a big problem.Long story short we paid for minor damage (a couple hundred dollars) of only the area that wasnt going to need replacement anyways. We finished the job and she added a sidewalk and that was it.So overall I understand she feels I wasnt profesional because I wouldnt agree to pay an unknown price for some minor damaged siding, and she was frustrated because I couldnt give her an exact date when we could start the project, because she wanted us to meet her electrician to hide piping for the non permitted hot tub she was installing.I wish you the best ***** and ** really sorry you feel this way. As you stated above it doesnt reflect on our workmanship or employees its just me ************************** the future I will do my best to try and to respond in a different manor.
