I paid a company *** to ship my personal possessions from ****** to the ** After price gouging me and forcing me to pay thousands of dollars for customs examination fees incurred because of their incompetent paperwork, my personal possessions were finally delivered on July 5th, a year after they left ******. While some of may possessions were delivered, many valuable items were 'lost' and many were damaged. I have since claimed on the insurance policy I bought from AGS, which was incorrectly filed by AGS, and I have received a final offer that is less than 60% of the claimed value. They have repeatedly refused to inform me who the actually insurance company holding my policy is, have not issued me with an insurance policy number, and despite repeated requests they have refused to provided me with a policy document. In the general terms and conditions of shipping invoice they state that the insurance is ad valorem - i.e. covered to the full value of the item to replace or repair, yet refuse to honor this and have only offered me a fraction of the repair and replacement costs. I finally get an email from Willis Towers Watson stating that that they are indeed the brokers of this policy. They state the offer is final and refuse to communicate with me further. They also refuse to provide me with an insurance policy document, policy number, or inform me as to what company actually underwrites the policy. They also refuse to furnish me with their ***** number that legally identifies them as an insurance intermediary. By refusing to provide me with the ***** number they are effectively blocking me from taking my case to the insurance ombudsman in ******. They are now ignoring all communication. They are now issuing the ultimatum that I either accept their final offer of compensation (only 60% of value) or incur tens of thousands of dollars more pursuing them in court in a country in which I don't reside.
