Horrible cleaning job and unprofessional staff. I hired Companion Maids for a move-out clean. I scheduled this six weeks out to ensure we had things properly covered for our move-out. On the day of, the cleaner arrived two hours late, saying she had run behind at a previous clean. Considering she was supposed to be at my place at 8am, I was frustrated that she would have been scheduled elsewhere prior to our clean. This cleaner also did a very poor job, leaving the floors and appliances essentially in the same shape as she found them. The oven was left dirty, as were the floors. As you may imagine, our landlord was not pleased during the walk-through. Thus, I called Companion Maids and insisted on a re-clean. I also paid extra for baseboard and window cleaning, as they were apparently not included with the 'standard' move-out clean. A cleaner did arrive the next day, though again she was late and she told my landlord she would not clean the floors, which is not what they had agreed to. He paid her cash to clean the floors, even though those should have been included in the original clean. Then she returned the keys to him late so we are being charged more for a late move-out. Overall, a total nightmare! I wish I had not trusted them for this move-out. With the extra charges our landlord is making us pay, this clean cost more than double what it should have, in addition to the stress and frustration caused by the unprofessional workers. Do yourself a favor and give your business elsewhere - to a company that knows what they are doing!
