The Booking.com site showed the rooms at the Majestic Hotel in ******* were one price for all nights yet I was charged three different prices for each of the three nights I was there. When I called the hotel about it they said we must contact Booking.com for any resolution. Since the hotel was the main benefactor, this leads me to believe the hotel was in on the scam. They didn't seem surprised this happened. My sister made these reservations and was misled by the same info I saw on their site. Do not under any circumstances use Booking.com. Good luck contacting them since some of the links on their site are broken. I also filed a complaint against Booking.com. The Majestic Hotel itself was not impressive. I had to have them send up a maintenance man to fix a loose toilet seat and fix the flushing mechanism, which they did in a timely manner. At one time I turned the ceiling fan to the middle speed and the wobble was so bad I thought the fan might eventually fall. The windows are only 10 feet or so from windows of properties next door so I had to leave them closed the whole time when I was there. They had a refrigerator and a mini bar that didn't get restocked on a daily basis. The Wifi didn't work for me although my sister didn't have any problems. I've never had any problems using Wifi at other hotels, airports, or places where free Wifi was available. The one positive thing I can say is that the hotel is quiet.
