We hired Advance Design Studio LTD of ********, **. to rebuild our deck and add a sunroom in 2015. Issues: Sunspace brand sunporch windows do not open and close correctly Cracked boards on stairs and deck need to be replaced Sunspace windows are extremely difficult to open and close. It takes my entire body weight to move them up or down. This is not the way our windows function.Some of the windows do not close all the way, leaving inches of gap between the window and the frame allowing rain and wind to into the sunporch. The windows do not stay in an open position. Rather they can randomly slam shut on their own at any time.We contacted Advance Design Studio LTD repeatedly to resolve this. Over the years they sent out a number of people who threw their hands up and said they did not know how to fix the problem. Advance Design Studio brought in manufactures representative ********************* LLC of ************, **. who attempted to adjust a few of the windows without satisfactory results. Every single window has an issue. These window frames are jammed with shims and bent up by Advanced Design Studios in an effort to resolve the problem.The windows are no easier to use and still do not stay open or closed.DECKING We selected Timbertech over real wood because **** told us this product is lower maintenance and and durability over wood. A number of boards cracked board and some of these pieces were replaced. A number of cracked stair treads and decking that have not been replaced.CURRENT STATE We last heard from *************************** at Advance Design Studio. They offered to come out in 11/2021. When I replied, ***** said they were no longer available that date and would follow up with me. I followed up a number of times since then and have not heard from them.
