I worked at this job not even 2 days. The first day, I was supposed to be trained but the Manager who also is the Owner just threw me in and left me by myself and didnt teach me anything. When I went in for my first official day, I was again by myself and didnt really know anything because I wasnt taught/showed. When the manager, Al, finally arrived he started yelling at me because I wasnt explaining stuff correctly to a customer even though I was going by what was on the list of options we offer for car wash&detailing. He was screaming at me in front of a customer. He then took me to his office and went to tell me that I need to get my s*** together, Im being slow & stupid, I need to wake up and know what Im doing. He was telling me to tell existing and potential customers different prices than what was showed. He also told me if someone asks for the manager, tell them hes not there even if he is. Also told me not to tell anyone hes the owner for I dont know what reason. I expressed to him I didnt like how he was talking to me and that I felt like he was being mean. He laughed at me and said if I think thats him being mean then I need to get my stuff and leave. That he can tell I dont know anything and he doesnt want to deal with me. He sent me home after only worked there less than a day. A couple days later, he called the police on a false claim. He claimed I sent someone in there asking for him and my money. He claims it was my boyfriend but my boyfriend was at work all day the time he claims he went in there. He told them the car he drove but my boyfriend doesnt drive anything close to what he described. He sent the police a false statement completely setting up a situation about me that never happened. The police even told my boyfriend that they get calls from this guy all the time and that people are always complaining about him. I feel like hea stealing peoples money & never gives his workers breaks.
