I was trying to purchase a vehicle from international car centre. The sales associate ****** informed me that I was approved. I came in test drove the vehicle and then was informed that my grandfather would have to sign before I left I put a deposit of $1000 down to hold the vehicle. The vehicle was brought to my home and my grandfather refused to cosign. ****** the sales associate that drove the vehicle to my home told me if I couldnt find another person to cosign for me then "come get the money back". I made several attempts to get another cosigner I wasn't able to make it happen and after two weeks of me trying to get the vehicle I went to pick my money up from international car centre the finance manager refused to give me back my money $1000 stating that he was losing money and is not fair that they took the car off the market to hold. The finance manager then kept refusing to give me my thousand dollars back even after my auntie attempted to reason with the gentleman. They only wanted to give me 500 of my money back after she spoke to him. There was nothing posted in the business stating that I would lose my money If I wasnt able to get the vehicle. my Auntie took a video of the inside of the dealership to make sure it was nothing posted stating that I would lose money down payment if I was able to get the car after she informed him that we would sue he acted as if he didnt care and He only gave me $800 of my $1000 I put down to hold the vehicle.
