      I am so sad and disappointed in the service department at Harvard ****** We consistently bring both of our vehicles for service at this location. However, after having a new radiator installed 2-3 weeks ago, the same car then required a new engine costing between $7-8,000. We were told that the radiator fluid spilled into the engine because of a cracked radiator cap. *****'s response was "They didn't know that the fluid spilled at the time of the radiator replacement." They can't help us with the $1500 we spent on the radiator repair or the engine cost because "it happens." But, how is it that YOU just replaced the radiator and now coincidently the radiator fluid has ruined the car's engine? I feel had this been caught at the time of original repair (or was the cap cracked on the new radiator?), the damage would not have been so severe. No credit given whatsoever. I will no longer recommend them as a vehicle repair shop.It would be nice if they would have apologized and offered to buy our vehicle at the ****** Blue Book Value of $16,000-18,000 (2018 Jeep Grand Cherakee with ******* miles). Instead we are spending thousands more on a vehicle to replace the Jeep. They offered to buy back Jeep at $8,000 only or install used engine with ****** miles on it and only ****** mile warranty. So upset with the monetary set-up and lack of apology. I would choose one star only if I could.

      Dear customer thanks for the review unfortunately there must have been some missed communication between you and the service agent. Your radiator was replaced because it had a crack in it not because a radiator cap was cracked. Second of all your engine did not go bad because a cracked cap and fluid running back in your engine from a bad cap . After the repair you had the vehicle for two weeks before it came back. At that time no leaks were present and your engine was pressured tested and that led to the discovery of a bad head gasket which is internal. Again we had no way of knowing this without going thru the following steps I understand your frustration and because you are a good customer we purchased the damaged vehicle from you to help out with some goodwill in hope you would still continue to be a customer. Not sure why you sent this review in after we agreed to purchase your damaged vehicle and wrote you a check for it on the spot. Please let me know what else I could do as a business owner who believes and supports our community. Thanks again I hope this review is removed!
