      Initial transaction on 12/21/23, went to Community Honda when car began to rattle and slow down, service person *****, He said it was engine after having it inspected, I had warranty and he said he would ask for new engine, but most likely they would approve only a used engine, I asked that he please ask for new engine since I have had so many problems with this car. He called on 4 days later to say he asked for new engine, they refused and approve used engine. 1) I called a few days later to ask why they would not give me a new engine and they said that was never requested, they said Community Honda only called to say they found a used engine. I spoke to Sales Manager about this and how upset I was, they went back and asked for new engine and they said the warranty company refused, they did what was in the best interest of the company, finish the work and get paid, this was a violation of my trust as a customer 2) I was told since I needed a car they could rent me one at $70.00 a day and that the warranty company would only pay for 7 days and that I would be responsible for rest, I agreed but felt this was not correct, I complained and out of 13 days on rental they absorbed 7 days and I was responsible for 6 at $70.00 a day and not the $50.00 the warranty company paid, I called 4 Honda dealerships and all had loaner cars for free if they did service on vehicle, I called ****** in Orland Park who also had cars for free, so I asked that I be charged $0 for rental since they made almost $7,000 on job ************************* Sales Manager refused and I asked to speak with owners, not available. I like a refund of $420 for car rental , they should have loaners available as a courtesy. 3) No customer care at all not sure why I went to pick up car on 1/10/24 find the car full of snow, car had not been cleaned off of snow or inside, a lot of money was paid and customer service and honesty was not there, I am asking for apology and $420 be refunded to my credit card

      Brought in Pilot for A/C Service and has Honda Care Active Policy- They tried to charge Me. Had to walk Home over 1 mile. Would never buy anything from Community Honda. Terrible Service.

      There are steps that are necessary before an extended warranty can cover failed parts per the contract that ********************** purchased, we are required to follow the steps necessary to cover any and all failed parts. ********************** was made aware of this prior to the service and seemed to understand. These steps are required to have his warranty company cover the repair. If ********************** had made ** aware that he needed a ride before leaving the building, we could have used our courtesy shuttle to transport him home. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused him.
