              Chicago Heating and Cooling 1 Corp completed routine maintenance on 11/6. The statement of work detailed changing the humidifier water pad. On 11/25 the furnace stopped working due to a leak from the humidifier. A separate HVAC company, Oasis, came and determined the leak was caused by the humidifier drain line being disconnected from the main drain. This occurred during the routine maintenance check. I had to pay another $165 from Oasis to get this fixed. Chicago Heating and Cooling did not return any of my phone calls to resolve the issue, and sent me a nasty email denying liability. I am requesting a full refund of the maintenance and payment for the additional service needed.

              I had a routine maintenance check 11/2. 3 weeks later my furnace stopped working completely. I called multiple times and did not receive a response for 3 days. ******** eventual response to me was We were away like the rest of the country. HVAC issues unfortunately occur at any time. I was surprised by the lack of emergency services for current clients. I called another company that arranged an appointment within 24 hours. The new company diagnosed the problem; the water supply line was not properly re-attached to my humidifier during the maintenance check, causing a major leak. I emailed ******* requesting a refund for my maintenance visit and charges by the other company to fix the issue. ******* berated me in response, calling the situation laughable and refused the refund. ******* has ignored my multiple calls and emails regarding this matter. I encourage potential clients to read the negative reviews on ****** and the aggressive nature in which ******* responds. Its no surprise the last 3 reviews of this business were 1 star.
