We closed on the house January 12th 2022, and $1500 was set aside to complete repairs that were discovered during the inspection period (a complete list will be uploaded) that was paid directly to Do Right Inc. Even before the work began we were informed by our relator, who recommend Do Right, that he was not going to complete all of the work, though he submitted an invoice to closing for it and gave the cost estimate. Nonetheless, we tried working through this to get critical issues taken care of. This included replacing the lock on the sliding patio door (which has failed after Do Right's repair), servicing the ***** cleaning the chimney and fixing the water intrusion issue. As of today, June 28th, 2022 there are still repairs that have not yet been completed one of which is a water intrusion issue that is causing a bug issue, which we made his team aware of several times. It has been difficult to get a response to wrap up this work from Rich and his team. We have not received receipts for work done. We requested May 25, 2022 for the remaining balance to refunded to our attention so that we could hire a contractor to finish the work and a receipt of all work done. We have not received the refund, receipts or a schedule for when the remaining work can be completed. We simply want to be able to hire someone to stop water intrusion and bug issues from the window that needs repair, but have been unsuccessful in this occurring with his team. We often had to deal with his team not responding to our calls or texts and at this point can no longer work together to get the job done for our home. We simply want the remaining balance refunded so that we are able to hire a contractor of our choosing.
