    Purchased a 549.00 heater from United RV for my RV. After installation tank started leaking. There was a crack and a rep/tech from Suburban came out, verified my damage information and charged me 150.00. I still have to rehire the gentleman to repeat the entire process I've paid for already. I'm referring to the cracked heater coming out and him installing another new one. It seems Suburban only covers the cost of the equipment, 549.00. That leaves 400.00 as I would have had to pay for the initial install. I'll be out of hot water for 8 days. I'm 72 and was told by involved parties that the other would have to cover it. Suburban sent a copy afterwards stating they only cover the cost of the appliance. Thanks **** ******* ************

    This company sells non working products and then does not help resolve them. Customer service is difficult to work with, they require you to spend extra money hiring someone to troubleshoot issues with brand new products. Then, they give a run around in order to even think about fixing it. These are not cheap appliances-between $400 and $800 each. We are extremely dissatisfied with our experience. After 8 weeks with zero progress, we finally gave up and took the loss. Other Google reviewers seem to have had similar issues.

    Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you have experienced in respect to your Suburban appliance. There are several factors that can affect the operation of your Suburban appliance. Therefore, it would be difficult to accurately diagnose the problem without seeing the appliance in its installation and during operation. With concern for the safety of the owner, Suburban does not provide technical assistance to retail owners, we strongly recommend contacting a certified RV technician for proper diagnosing due to the danger. We recommend you take your appliance to a local RV service agency, mobile tech, or one of the recommended service centers listed on www.airxcel.com and http://www.airxcel.com/suburban/where-to-buy website. Suburban will work with ANY RV service center. While under warranty, Suburban will be happy to cover any parts needed and the flat rate labor time for the repairs. If the service agency needs assistance while working on your unit, please have them contact our factory Service Department at 574-247-9235.
