We hired them in October 2022 to fix a leak in our metal porch roof, they worked on it, and we paid them, then when it rained, we realized it was still leaking and was not fixed. They came back and did some work again. This went on until April of 2023. From the get go, the work was very messy looking, but they said they would clean it up and make it "right" in the end, which they never did, and the leak also never did get fixed. After 6 months and a dozen or so attempts which only lead to an additional leak at the opposite corner from the original leak, we asked them to refund our money and let us move on. They implored us to let them look and try again, which they did, and when that didn't work, we became insistent that we did not want them doing anything else at risk of causing more damage to our roof. At this point we had the additional leak, a small hole in one of our metal panels, scratches and creases in other sections of the metal, and the trim around our window and the window sill were covered in messy caulk and looked a mess. Xxxxx (not sure if he is the owner) said he would go back to the office and work on getting our refund. They sent us half of what we paid them. When we asked about the other half and told them that we would have to file a complaint and leave them poor reviews based on our experience, they got combative. They claimed they found the problem and we didn't let them fix it. But we let them, repeatedly, and I don't understand if that were the case, why they didn't fix it when they found it. We have photos, emails, texts, and even video (including from their last visit, one of the roofers stating "I don't know what to tell Xxxxx", as they climbed down and started to pack up for that attempt.) We just want our money back so that we can pay the next roofer. We will pursue small claims court if necessary.
