My wife spent a long time looking for a contractor to help redo our kitchen. It's not particularly easy to do so nowadays, but we lucked out with KPC Carpentry. It's a family-run business right here in Waxhaw and we are very pleased to have worked with them. We'd reached out to KPC Carpentry and met with Ken & Carol multiple times discussing possibilities for the kitchen remodel. Ken worked on many different layouts as we hashed out ideas with him -- all of this even before we had signed a contract. He had a number of good ideas about how to proceed as our odd-shaped kitchen made that a bit more challenging than normal. And when the kitchen remodel morphed into addressing the entire downstairs, KPC Carpentry were able to assist in the additional projects this entailed as well. Communication throughout the project was timely. Ken was very particular, taking numerous measurements and even coming back to take more just to make sure everything was done right. He went above and beyond multiple times throughout the multiweek project, displaying his skill set as he designed a couple hidden nooks that are a nice addition to the new cabinetry despite it not being part of the original project. He also helped us modify an old antique cabinet into a bathroom vanity. Carol was very helpful as well with ideas, even accompanying us to a countertop warehouse where we found the quartzite that fit just perfectly. The daily work was done smoothly by Ken and Kenny with as limited interruption to our regular lives as is possible when redoing the kitchen. They cleaned up more each day than we thought was needed but it was appreciated. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to reach out to KPC Carpentry for future projects around the house. Thanks!
