We paid A-1 heating and cooling $15.289.27 on 7/18/22 to install two furnaces and an air conditioning unit in our building. We paid them for this so they could go ahead and order them, and they said they would be here by the end of August 2022, and would get them installed within 60 days. One was supposed to take up to 6 months. We had to contact them 5 months later and ask where the equipment was, they stated they had the equipment but were short staffed. ***** ******* contacted them again and asked if we could get this installed when it started getting hot out in the summer of 2023 because we had elderly customers complaining of the heat, so they came and installed one of 2 units and at this time they hooked it up but they had the hose kinked so over the weekend water went all over the ceiling and all over the floor and ruined our ceiling and flooring. We never asked them to pay for the repairs and had called several times to have them come and fix the problem and they never came back to fix anything else. We did the repairs and still only 1 unit is hooked up. They cashed our check and every time we would call, they would hang the phone up on us. ***** was able to finally talk to ****** and she said the other gas line hose was on back order. This was October 2023. We decided after she hung the phone up on one of our volunteers, we were just going to get someone else to hook it up. The new repairmen came in this past week and went up to ***** and got the gas line hose and hooked it up. A-1 did not have the ground wire hooked up to the unit. This could have exploded. The new repairmen discovered this and fixed it. We now have both units hooked up and running perfectly. We have not received the bill from the new repairmen, but we would like to know how we recover the expenses from A-1 Heating and Cooling. Would we be able to have them pay for it since they already got paid for it? A-1 cashed the check on 7/25/22.
