I ignored the reviews, the low ratings and I went ahead and purchased from these guys and I can't express how deeply I feel that it was one of the most stupid mistakes I've ever made. The abundance of bad ratings make it clear that my experience was not an isolated incident, but rather a pattern here and it ain't pretty. Here are a few examples of how incompetent these clowns are. Guy comes out, measures the area to be carpeted but FORGETS to place an order for one of the rooms. They eventually removed the old carpet, but discovered they didn't have the new carpet so they just left nails sticking out of the ground creating a very dangerous situation. The same doofus, who measured a hallway, got the measurements so wrong it was laughable. Especially when you considered prior to coming out I gave him the measurements I had made to use as a double check for his work. I stressed the importance of getting in the missing carpet ASAP. When they finally get it in they FORGET to call me and tell me it has arrived. So I was waiting for the carpet while it was sitting around in the warehouse. I got tired of waiting for them to call so I checked myself only to discover “Oh yeah, we got that in” So buyer beware, do not purchase from these guys. There's lots of other options available. If you end up buying anyway, you can't say you weren't warned.

My review is actually 4.5 stars. Kevin W***** was very informative and knowledgeable on the carpets available from Rite Rug and the installation process. He was very timely with his responses to our questions. We have a medium size condo with a lot of furniture and big furniture. The installers worked well through these challenges and did a great job. A shout out to Orlando and his other two installers. Really appreciate them.

We met Kevin W***** at the Columbus Garden Show, as soon as we walked into Rite Rug's display. He was wonderful. We made an appointment for him to come out to our home for a consultation. Kudos on customer service, installation and follow up. Worked with an amazing team which included Kelly ***** in customer service support and Chris ******’s at the Gahanna/New Albany store to fix an issue with the first installation of flooring from another store. They worked together to get the right flooring for our home. In addition the installation team and support from Greg was top notch service. Thanks again for fixing what was a very frustrating situation… as the first install a year prior in 2023 with the Heath store and communication from the Heath manager (Jared) was non existent.. I would highly recommend Gahanna store and highly discourage Heath store the customer service was like night and day.. Rite Rug stood behind their product and service and made things right…

Rite Rug installed laminate flooring in my condo in June of 2020 before we moved in. They did a great job including removing the old carpet & tile & we loved it. Unfortunately, after three years my office chair wheels nicked one of the planks & was starting to loosen others surrounding it. I called them in December 2023 re the problem. Joanne Scott was very helpful & nice. She told me they recommend a tempered glass chair mat for my office chair for laminate flooring to mitigate damage. It would have been nice if someone had told me that in 2020 when the flooring was installed, Anyway, she scheduled a repair call & the two techs arrived on January 10th. I can't say enough good things about these two guys. They were efficient & polite and replaced several of the surrounding planks, not just the damaged one. They cleaned up after the job was finished & hauled away the damaged planks & debris. Fortunately, I had leftover planks from the initial install. They were enough to cover the removed planks with one to spare. (-: I would certainly recommend Rite Rug for flooring needs. BTW, I purchased a tempered glass chair mat to put over the flooring in front of my desk - lesson learned. The only complaint I have is with the Rite Rug payment policy. They wanted a credit card number & charged it even before the repair work was scheduled. In fact, they won't schedule you unless you pay up front. I can see that this makes sense if they need to order material for a job. They don't want to order material & have the customer back out. I fully understand that. But I already had the flooring, so no material order was needed. The job was for labor only. I don't like paying for a labor job before the work is done. I certainly don't have to do that for a plumber, electrician, etc. .... Their response is they stand behind their work & will make it right if needed. In this case I have no complaints about their work.

Requesting and obtaining an appointment was easy. I got the same day I selected and had an estimate by the end of the day. Kevin W***** was the representative assigned to me and he came to my house that day. Kevin was absolutely wonderful to work with. Kevin was professional, kind, and very knowledgeable about the products and project to be done. I felt at ease with talking to him and didn't feel pressured one bit. I felt he was honest and was not trying to upsell me. Kevin responded to my emails quickly and had excellent communication skills through the entire process. He was also patient with me as I second guessed my selections. Kevin met me at a Rite Rug store and we went over more samples. I highly recommend trying the sample on what it would like in your home. It is online with the choices you select. I ended up changing my mind with this viewing option. I am very happy with the product I selected. Now to the installation. Wow, the crew was incredible. They were non-stop and hard workers. They were also friendly and professional. They did a perfect job with their install, and I am very happy with the end product. I am sorry I didn't collect all the installers names but I know Adam was the lead person for vinyl floor installation and Wilbur was the lead person for the carpet. I would highly recommend Rite Rug for your flooring. They have an abundance of options too.

Kelly P****, Earnest from Broad Street Store and Urban were wonderful to work with. The three worked together and continued to keep us informed; to be sure we were satisfied. Urban did an amazing job repairing our flooring. Other installers said the issue could not be fixed. These three individuals focused on our satisfaction.

My wife and I have been Rite Rug customers for over 30 years for carpets and hardwood floors. They have always been on time and the installations have been flawless. I have recommended them to countless friends. The latest project started with the Dublin store manager Rick Lance and involved several steps in the remolding project. He made sure that installers got here were on time with the right materials.
