      Value City is the worst!!!!! They held our money 15K for nearly eight months. They damaged our custom order on delivery trashed our new floor and door jam when the delivery guys crammed it through the door and it tore the leather on two out of the three pieces. They owed us a refund for the mattress we exchanged and held that $ 2200.00 for nearly eight months also. Said it was connected to the other order and they needed to wait. They said they accidentally refunded $4800.00 and charged our card again. Without our authorization or consent. Here is where it gets interesting I called the Eastgate Ohio store 4/16/2024 and every time the manager is not available or in a meeting. We have talked to Monet 18 times and she even said that's not here real name she just likes the name. Today when I called I got another lady asked for the manager and again in a meeting. I explained the situation and said technically we should have been receiving interest . She immediately said she was ending the call because they have been instructed if anyone said lawyer or attorney they are to immediately end the call. I called corporate headquarter in Columbus and spoke to Heather and explained the situation and she hung up on me. Now we are getting our attorney involved and will pursue whatever avenue is needed to collect our money and damages to our home along with interest. Buyer beware there are 77 pages of complaints. I think they never reordered our furniture and are giving us the run around. This is theft! They still have our money! They are the worst!!!!

      The store took my payment ($2,278)for a dining room table on 3/2/24. they told me my order would be delivered on 3/20/24. I called them on 3/22/24 to see why I had not received My furniture. They told me it would be delivered on 4/3/24. they delivered my dining table in four of the chairs, but the two host chairs were missing and never even would’ve said a word to me about it until I asked them where they were. They told me I needed to call the store because it looks like they were backordered, I called the store and they said I would receive my chairs on April 10, then April 17. I made another phone call to find out why my chairs had been delayed and they told me it was a shipment from out of the country. When I talk to the gentleman in the store, he told me the furniture was coming from North Carolina. It is now March 15/2024. I looked online to see if my furniture would be here this week and they have it backordered until May 15. Never any apologies or phone calls from the store. Knowing what I know now I would not have ordered the furniture. Value City Furniture Customer service has definitely went downhill from my purchases in the past. No explanations, no remedy other than to wait.

      Very Disappointing to read that Value City offers military discounts of up to 30% online in-store. Upon going into the store **** ****** store told me that they do not offer military discounts. Called customer care and was told that they only offer discounts on certain holidays, I was put on hold to find out what holidays those were and then told that it is in November for the military. However, it is certain other holidays as well, but couldn't tell me what the other holidays were. There is no clear indication online, in person, or customer care service to clarify the rules. How disappointing. When I have tried all 3 and no one has been able to provide the correct response. Online should be updated. I spent considerable time picking out furniture only to be misdirected. It was a waste of my time and the employee's time that assisted me.

      I wish I could give no stars, I recently purchased a Sealy Posturepedic plus mattress from Value City Furniture after 2.5 months it developed a sink hole in it, I paid $13+ hundred dollars for it, they sent a technician out to take measurements of the mattress and he said there was nothing wrong with the mattress even though the hole was starring him in the face. I asked the lady at the front desk do they sale refurbished mattress and she responded sometimes they are repaired and resold, so I AM STUCK WITH A BAD MATTRESS NOW, to anyone shopping there please be aware shop somewhere else.

      Their customer service is ineffective. I understand that there are shipping delays, I am not complaining about the 3 times the delivery date was changed. However, when I contact customer service that is all they want to tell me and hope I understand. When I tell them that isn't my issue and they aren't listening to me, they tell my I am rude. The issue was they confirmed by text, email and phone the night before It was to be delivered. After making arrangements to be ready for the delivery they didn't show up. When I called they said it was changed to the next day, but no one contacted me. When they finally did delivery the next day, they were missing a piece of our sectional. When I called to tell them about it, they said they would only be able to find out the issue after the truck returned. They finally called me at 8:37 pm to set up a delivery of the missing piece...7-10 days later. The person I talked to at the store said they would call me back and have a service tech delivery it because he had a more flexible timetable. The store did not call me back, but a scheduling service. When I called today to complain, they said it would be 25 minute wait to talk to a supervisor and they would called me back. That was 10 am, at almost 7 pm they have not done some. They need to be better to their customers and have better communication with their different sectors as well as their customers.

      I should have looked at reviews on this company before I started looking for furniture. After much searching I found a living room set we loved. Great ! went through financing on 2/17/24 was told that it would be about 30 days because the furniture set was on back order ok cool. Delivery date was not until 3/27 kind of long but ok. received a call a week before delivery and was told there was a delay by the manufacturer and delivery had to be moved to 4/3/24. Ok we were a bit irritated but we will wait. Received another call a few days before 3rd and was told it was delayed YET AGAIN. so now we were told the new date is now 4/12. Ok now we are upset. Understand that we have been paying on the furniture for the last two months and credit pull that was done. Ok we are back to waiting we got the phone call on 4/9 furniture is coming and they are calling to confirm delivery . Great Excited! today 4/10 we get a phone call stating it will be delayed AGAIN. . WHY because the manufacturer yet again don't have it in stock. This was unacceptable. requested to speak to someone else, we were provided with customer service . Called them and its the same story. No answers to how much longer it will be, no answers to is this going to be pushed out again. No confirmation to anything . Spoke to a supervisor same answers NO idea when , Cant contact the manufacturer, Can't give any confirmation. We have bought , rugs , lamps, pictures and curtains all to match this furniture that we cannot seem to get! The only thing I can say good about this entire experience would be the Customer Service agent was very polite and the supervisor was great. However ...... DONT SHOP HERE EVER . .

      I purchased a counter top high table with chairs specifically if they could deliver them during a week I had off from work. They delivered the table and chairs an hour late and had leave to pick up my daughter from school. Told them just leave the table and I would assemble it later. When I got home and assembled the table just to find they delivered the wrong table. Chairs were for a counter top high table but they delivered a regular size table. Chairs were too high for the table and was completely useless to use. Contacted them about their mistake only to find they were unwilling to accommodate me for THEIR mistake. They would not work around my schedule even though they delivered the wrong table. Basically if I wanted the table exchanged I would have to take time off from work to receive the correct table and if I wanted a refund I had to take time off from work for them to pick it up. I even called corporate and they couldn’t care less about accommodating their customer for their mistakes. Buy from elsewhere! Value City Furniture as a whole does not care about making things right even when they’re at fault. If they make a mistake you have to meet their needs.

      0 - STARS - ZERO STARS!! Many years ago, I used to like shopping at VCF. Now they sell cheap, defective and over priced furniture. Don't even bother purchasing the extended warranty, it’s a complete rip off. I will never again purchase another piece of anything sold by VCF or their partners. The last sofa set bought for my home has needed to have the same recliner repaired twice. The same recliner now needs repairing again. However, today I was told the extended warranty (Warranty Services) I purchased is void due to VCF attempting to repair damages before the 1 year warranty was up. They also would not replace a power cord where the prong just fell out. I had previously purchased a sleigh bed that also kept breaking and needing repairs. VCF robs people of their money selling them defective furniture tricking you into purchasing warranties that they will never stand behind. Do not waste your money at any Value City Furniture stores nor their partners. Complete rip off!

      If I could rate negative star, would be minus 5. Placed an order on 2/16/24 for a TempurPedice Pro Adapt Medium mattress and Ergo Smart Base. Also purchased a few accessories. We set delivery up for 3/15/24 because of a carpet installation with the understanding that if carpet was installed early, could adjust the delivery date. Delivery was adjusted to 3/14/24. Received a phone call from Value City on 3/11 stating "manufacturer delays" with no other information. Delivery set for 3/27/24. Talked with a "manager" at the store and got nowhere other than to be called names. I am an upset customer and employee should not have resorted to childish behavior and being condescending towards me. I did contact American Signature, parent company about the issue. I received another call on or about 3/23, citing "manufacturer delays" again. This time pushing delivery to 4/10/24. There was never anything said about deliveries being subject to any type of manufacturer delays until the first delay. I did call the manufacturer and had I went through the factory direct, could have been delivered within 7 to 10 days. We have been a customer of Value City since the early 1990's and never had any issue until now. I will not come back for my future purchases because of the issues that we have experienced. Value City has been paid for the furniture and TempurPedic is a premium brand, and we are without a bed, which makes it really rough since I am over 70 and a disabled Vet. All I want is my bed as purchased and promised.

      NO STARS IF POSSIBLE.My girlfriend picked out a chair,and pre paid for me to pick up when it was available. I was called to pick it up 04/03/2024. I showed the manager my receipt and invoice and she said she meet me at the dock. I drove around back and no one was there. I waiting in a caged area and I saw my box. I opened customer pickup door to load my box after loading the box the manager and an assistant ask me way to many questions like I was stealing. I signed off on her paperwork to leave and she said I needed to show her my drivers license I told her no and she had enough information why I was there. The manager said she was calling Clarksville police. I told her go ahead and call police tell them my license plate numbers because I have other appointments. I will never spend any money at any Value City Furniture Stores again.Beware people of color in this store
