August 15 I was on my way on a weekly vacation with my family. I realized I had some fraudulent charges on my debit card the following day so I immediately canceled the card and was issued a new one with the temporary credit. I spoke with a representative and clearly told her that I must have dropped the debit card at the gas station and somebody must have picked it up and decided to use it that same day with multiple purchases to gas stations and a big purchase from *******. We seem to have been on the same page because clearly I was out of town when this took place. A few weeks later, they decided to reverse the temporary credit claiming that I said the card was in my possession when it was stolen they also mentioned that they were purchases That came out from my debit card and I clearly stated that I have a subscription from ****** so I get automatic payments taken out from my debit card so I didnt have it in my possession. It was on their files. I have spoken with three representatives, including a manager, claiming that they are going to reopen the case and there shouldnt be a problem but here I am waiting for the last three weeks for my money to be put back in my account. They continue to tell me theyre going to review it or they backtrack and say theyre going to review it or maybe open it again its absolutely ridiculous and Im fed up and I didnt want to have to file a complaint against this company, but this is what it come to. *******The Huntington National Bank Response

Bought a new truck and the dealership chose this bank to finance me through. Worst mistake I ever made, this bank is unwilling to do anything work with you in any manner. I never received any information and had to reach back out to the dealership to figure out how to make my payments. By the time I figured it out I was late and they would not work with me at all. I have perfect payment history and near perfect credit and they still told me to get lost. I will be refinancing my truck somewhere else so I do not have to deal with these people.The Huntington National Bank Response

I would give them no stars if I could. On July 30th overpaid my standby cash they allow by $126.00. I called customer service and was told they would reset my stand by cash and thr money would be available the next week. This went on until Aug 16th when I was very upset. I was then told they were doing a refund of my money. I was give a case ID number and told the money would be available by Aug 23rd. I called on Aug 23rd when the money did not come in and was told they were sorry but the money would be settled on August 29th. On August 29th I called and was told they were very sorry but a superior had approved the money to be released tomorrow morning. The persons was not able to give me the supervisors name or any contact information as they said it was not in the system that way. At this point I am furious that it has taken a month to get my money back. I called at 10 am on August 30th and was told that now I would not be getting my money back. That it eas applied to my stand by loan and I should have been told that a while ago. The lady apologized for her co-works not understanding the situation. This was upsetting and scary. I spoke to a total of 11 customer services agents and out of them only 1 understood the situation and it took me a month to reach that one. I am closing my accounts. Where do I start with their issues. 6 years ago, my first problem with them was I got robbed at *********. They told me that I gave them the atm password, so I allowed them to take my money. I said I would be dead if I didn't. Huntington National Bank said, " You should die to protect it". Tell my kids when I am dead in a ditch at least I have my atm password. Funny because if the bank got robbed, they are not guarding the money with their life. They just hand away your money.Most recent reason I am going to sue them for. I sold some exercise equipment I have in my dining room. Right here on ********. So, I deposited the checks and told the people they get it when the money clears the bank. So, two days later I can see the money, so I used some of the money. One day later my checking account goes in the hole with no reason posted. So, I moved money that was in a second check over. Both checks bounced and they were fraud. Not only did Huntington National Bank not catch it on a mobile deposit but they pulled the money and put me in the hole. I called online right away and asked what happened. They said they anticipated that the money would go through, but it didn'***** the security is on my account that locks me out. I have no access, and they will not allow me to access any of my money. They think I had something to do with it. If I rob you on the streets I go to jail. Why is it when the bank steals from me nothing happens. Who do I talk to about these injustices at ************************* and all my family and friends are going elsewhere. People your money is not safe with them. I propose that all Huntington National Bank Customers stand with me and move your accounts to new banks that are safe. Worst bank I have ever dealt with. I denied charges when they called me. I have since disputed it 3x. They change the narrative everytime. The failed to put a hold on my account and allowed over $1,400 to be paid a week after the initial contact. Now I supposedly authorized these transactions via text message. That is NOT HOW IT HAPPENED. I guess any ***** could work for them as they Aide and abed ripping people off. I am disabled and this is more money than I get in a month. Had a business account at ********. *** was purchased by Huntington. Huntington lost (or never received) records about ***'s business accounts. They have no idea who owns the account. Never mind that I am the registered agent for this corporation and also President of the Board according to the Secretary of *************** and never mind that Huntington mails me the account statement every month. I have tried repeatedly over several years to gain access to the money in that account. Today, after one long phone call to Huntington business services and two trips to the local branch, I had to pay $430 in fees to the State of ******** to re-file my incorporation forms and hopefully prove to Huntington that the account I opened, and they lost the records for, is actually mine. They made the mistake, I paid the penalty, that is not fair and I cannot wait to close this account and never do business with Huntington again.The Huntington National Bank Response

In November 2023 I closed my accounts because my small town local branch was closing come the new year. I asked the employee assisting me if there was anything left I needed to do or would my account be closed nope youre all set she assured me, TELL ME WHY THIS ********* WITHDREW OVER $300 for an ACH TRANSFER from an account that was SUPPOSED TO BE CLOSED - THREE WEEKS AFTER SAID FACT. NOW THESE BLEEP HOLES THINK I OWE THEM MONEY. they sent me to collections over something that was 100% THEIR fault and I'm NOT paying it and this is the first time in my life Im cutting my hair, and needing to speak to a manager cus my name is now *****-A-***** ***. THIS BANK CAN EAT MY SHORTS AND THAT MONEY because I opened up a new account at another bank and set up a transfer for that car payment and had it taken care of that week I closed at Huntington. I talked to your debt collector and offered him $50 to reconcile this and you said $175 - I said *** DOG - he said I cant promise this offer will still stand. I said NEITHER CAN I BRO. After being a customer for over 30 years with a high credit score I was the victim of fraud at this bank. When I tried to get my money back, Huntington accused me of having committed the fraud myself and then said I was trying to rip them off by asking for the money back. There were multiple incidents of fraud over several months and I was asked to find another bank. I did transfer elsewhere but threatened to file a federal complaint against them unless my money was returned. It took months to work this out and the stress from the accusations leveled against me was horrible. Don't bank here under any conditions!!!The Huntington National Bank Response

Don't trust this unprofessional bank ever they are so wasting time you can't even deposit money to your business account more than 5000 they decided to shut my account for no reason all what they said high risk and they only give me 7 days I have been with usaa bank for over 20 years as a veteran and never experienced this before very inconsiderate bank un professional and I hope they get out of business soon which it will happen with time with the way they treat there customers.The Huntington National Bank Response
