That’s business is completely unprofessional. This business never provided an official estimate, and certainly not a contract prior to starting the job (which should have been our first warning). They never contacted us to let us know they were coming, never knocked on the door to say they had arrived and to discuss the job and confirm what we wanted done. They also never let us know that that were leaving and that they considered the job done. The crew then left before reviewing the work with us. And after we texted to ask about one of the limbs left on the tree after the crew had left, they immediately became confrontational. They never left an invoice until we asked for it, and of course they demanded immediate payment. They called my wife repeatedly to demand payment (she wasn’t available right that second), then threatened to put a lien on our house if we didn’t pay right then. And then they had the nerve to tell her "I don't play games." Extremely rude, unprofessional, and incredibly poor customer service. I wish we had read the other reviews here before hiring Scott’s. It’s clear they don’t value their customers, and aren’t willing to deal with complaints in a professional, civil manner. They even attack customers on this review page. Do not use Scotts.
