              On June 24, 2024 Eco Plumbers visited my house for the first time. I had a slow shower drain and when the upstairs toilets flushed, water backed up into our kitchen sink. A tech visited and snaked a drain. He sold me on the EcoFi Advantage membership program and said the work comes with a warranty. Within a few hours after leaving, we flushed the toilets and it happened again. Eco Plumber was called and they returned June 25th. The tech removed the toilet to snake the drain that way and charged nearly $200 despite saying he would come back for warranty work. Within 30 minutes of him 'finishing' the job, the kitchen sink backed up again when a toilet flushed. June 26th a new Eco tech came to our house. He tried to clear the drain and couldn't seem to find a remedy, so they called out the sales person ******. They determined we needed to descale the pipe in the basement floor despite the basement toilet / sink / shower being the only drains in the house that weren't affected by slow moving drains or water backing up. ****** indicated they would have to jackhammer the basement to install a 2 way cleanout. Tuesday July 2nd, several techs arrived and began the work. After descaling and jetting the pipe, we still had standing water in our kitchen sink. The techs removed the basement toilet to inspect the pipe and couldn't get it back on properly. We then had no functioning toilet that didn't back up into the kitchen sink. ****** came back on July 3rd along with his boss ***. They said they would need to jackhammer the new concrete in addition to another area to descale more pipe. More techs came back to fix the toilet but they couldn't so they left, and we had no working toilet for July 3 and 4th. *** came back to put in a new toilet on July 5, but made no mention of the continuing issue of toilets backing up into the kitchen sink. The owner of Eco reached out and gave us his email address so he could help. I've sent him 4 emails and he hasn't replied once.

              I called Eco Plumbers for a quote on installing 2 toilets which we already had purchased. Quote given was for $11,304.60 for a bunch of stuff we didn't ask for or need i.e replace gas water heater with tankless, add water pressure regulator, clean main plumbing line, change main water valve, test water quality, etc. ***** ****** then attempted to pressure us into paying for a **** membership for an additional $280 and kept trying to push their financing plans on us, finally he quoted to install just 2 toilets $1200 with the possibility of another $680+ if he ran into problems and needed 4 hours to complete the job. It took 3 hours to get him out of our home and another 40 minutes for him to drive away. I called our local police **** for assistance in having him removed, he left when the officers arrived.

              Hi *******, thank you for your feedback. Our GM has reached out to you to discuss your service experience. *** is always working to improve our team's service. In this case, our technician's communication could have been better when checking on equipment in your home and supplying estimates for important plumbing equipment other than the ones you specifically asked about, which were tankless water heating and installing new toilets. Because we provide free estimates, there was no charge for the service visit. You sent our technician on his way without purchasing anything. There was also concern that the technician sat in his truck in front of your home. There was no ill-intent by our technician as he completed his service call notes and waited to be dispatched to his next call from his truck, parked on the road in front of your home. Since we are an eco-friendly company, this helps with fuel and time efficiencies, however, we appreciate knowing that a customer may interpret this differently within the context of the entire service experience. Our GM has asked the technician to move his truck at the conclusion of the appointment in the future. Also, as a way to return your trust, our GM offered to have a technician return and install new toilets at no charge.
