**** and Mikey did a great job on our sweep and inspection! They showed up within the time frame, were professional and efficient. We would definitely recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

The Chimney Guys were great! They installed a new chimney cap and converted a gas fireplace back to a wood-burning one, offering creative solutions for an old house with some unique challenges. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and they took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Would definitely use again!

We made an appt for a inspection and sweep/cleaning for our pellet stove. We were told it would be $249. The guy got to our house and was there less than 20 mins to tell us the venting was not properly place right and that they could not do anything more due to liability, which I completely understand and would not want them to go against code. But we were then charged $170 for a "10 min inspection" to be told nothing could be done, not given any info on repairs or cost to fix the issue. Was told the guy didn't even really know much about the pellet stove himself. I called and spoke to Valerie who answers the phones and she was very understanding at first and told me she would only charge us for 129 which is the fee for a service call and that she could send us a check for the difference that was charged, then I was placed on hold while she went and spoke to someone by the name of Katie and came back on the line to tell me that she actually had to write it up and take it to be approved by the owner since the inspection report was already written up and emailed to us. Just sounded very unprofessional after telling me one thing and being charged $170 for nothing now we are out money to even be able to fix the repair ourselves. Very bad business.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would! I usually only right positive reviews and did not want to do this but I am appalled at the services I received and the response I got when I called asking about the service.When scheduling my appointment I let them know I had a brick chimney that had stucco overtop which was cracking, I was told by the woman who answered the phone and was very nice that they would stick a camera down the chimney to see the internal damage.***** one of the technicians/ owners originally came out on May 19th to look at my chimney( it had cracking on the outside and we wanted to know the extent of the damage)***** was unable to put a camera in/ look at the chimney at that time due to chimney sweep birds living in the chimney.We rescheduled our appointment to September 1st when the birds would be gone. On September 1st ***** comes back instead of inspecting the chimney with a camera inside to see the damage he just tells my mother who was the only one home at the time that it has water damage and he wont know the full extent of the issue unless he rips off the stucco.He then charged her a $175 dollar service fee. To look at it from the outside and tell us exactly what we already knew.
