Good Guys Tree Service is the first tree service I have ever used. I contacted them via e-mail - not expecting a response. They responded on President's **** Came out. Gave me a estimate -- a tree had fallen on the house -- estimate and work was done within 2-3 hours. Excellent work. Professional. **************, ****, **** and Team were excellent. Excellent crew. They are efficient, well trained, prompt and left my property neat and clean. I will have them back again soon to remove more of those "big weeds" called cedars!The trees I contracted to have fed are looking very healthy which pleases me no end.Conversation with the representative was most informative concerning maintaining healthy trees on our property.

We have been returning customers of *** and Good Guys Tree Service for years. They have always done great work for us in the past...until we got an estimate for tree repairs after this last ice storm (Feb. 2023). The amount of money they bid for our job was obscene! It could only be described as price gouging. What the numbers boiled down to was basically between $1000 and $2000 per hour for tree work. It seems the company is growing so fast that they have lost connection with their customers and have transitioned from a trusted company based on quality and customer ********************** to a company of growth, profit and greed. While the sales guy preached honesty and fairness in his estimate, the reality is that it was price gouging based on the need for tree work after this last ice storm in ******, **. Good Guys Tree Service should rename themselves Greedy Guys Tree Service. They were non-negotiable in their pricing. Come back down to Earth Good Guys Tree Service.Review from Scott C

We have been residential customers of Good Guys Tree Service for several years and completely trust *** and his teams to take care of the many, many trees on or acreage. We live in a protected nature preserve area, so maintaining tree health and property aesthetics are of great importance. The professionals at Good Guys are excellent, highly experienced, responsive and friendly. In addition to outstanding pruning, Good Guys has arborists who advise us and take care of tree health. In a world where superior, trustworthy service has become hard to find, Good Guys Tree Service stands out as an excellent company. Scheduling left much to be desired. the Office Manager and actual crew were AWESOME! I have full confidence that the crew knew how to take care of my trees. Cleanup was excellent and this crew worked together as a team and was fast!Good Guys Tree Service Response

This crew does great work. The bidder sold me the job explaining it would a crew of 7 of their very best for a job he explained was a big job and said it would take two days, and in fact, rolled it back a day because we did not want to get caught in the weekend. But it only took one day. The crew is very good. Much better than the bidder. The bidder oversold the job, suggesting to me that it would take two days/7 crew but they were able to complete it in one. The job was overbid. I like the work they did very much. The bidder needs to understand it appears he is selling his great crew service hours accurately to the customer, and not reselling the crew's time twice. My lesson here is not trust a bidder's word.Good Guys Tree Service Response

Good morning Ma'am. We are very glad you are pleased with the work that Good Guys Tree Service has provided for you. We are very sorry for the miscommunication on the bid process. I have talked to the estimator (bidder) on this job and he has explained to me that what happened was that he said the job would take one or two days to complete and we would just charge a flat daily rate. Our crews are very large and work very hard and fast as you saw when they came to do the work. Again, we are very sorry for the misunderstanding and we greatly appreciate your business.
