This company is trying to scam people out of money. One of their agents, ***********************, called me on a Sunday trying to get me to give her $600 cash "under the table" and not to "tell anyone in her office" so she could hold a unit for me that was available for lease. She told me that if I gave her the cash she would provide me a refund in a couple of weeks if I decided not to lease the unit. When I asked her to text/email me the details so I had this refund guarantee in writing, she said I would just "have to trust her" and that I couldn't tell anyone else in the office that she works with. I felt like she was trying to scam money from me in a way so there was no trace of me giving her the cash, and no proof of her guaranteeing a refund.I called the next day to speak with the actual manager of the company to explain my experience and he said "we just need to let that go." I fear that this is common practice for this company and that they routinely scam people out of money. Especially in a town with young, naive college students, I could see them getting away with this. BEWARE.

the comments are totally unfounded. I reviewed the email string between the client and our leasing agent and there is nothing to substantiate this review. We do request that a client place a deposit down to hold off of the market until they can complete leasing paperwork. This is a fairly standard practice in this market. However, we do not take cash. A leasing agent would not be able to place an available unit on hold without this deposit and there would be no way to hide this from our staff or other agents in the office. While we do not wish to have a client that feels she did not receive good service, her statements and concerns are not founded.

As I mentioned in my review, this correspondence took place through a phone call because the agent did not want any written evidence of this. I have a call log from Sunday 2/20/22, for a 5 minute phone call where the agent requested me to give her cash for the deposit. I promise you that this is shady business and your agent deserves termination if they are doing this to people. You lied saying that you review emailed correspondence, because there was never email correspondence. This business doesn't even have my email. *********************** only communicated to me via text and phone call.
