    Austin car care has had my vehicle since April of this year. I requested that they just get the vehicle running and told them I dont care about looks, I just need my car. I also paid $1,260 on April 12th to have the parts be ordered. Worst mistake *** ever made. Since that date Ive heard every excuse in the book about the parts. Still waiting on one little part then we are good. Anyways, eventually (if they were ever ordered in the first place) the parts came in. At this point in time my car was moved to a different location. I asked many times and they would not tell me the location of the car so that I wouldnt have to rely on them for information on progress. The detective I worked with ******************* of the auto theft division told me that the owner of Austin car care didnt want to release that info because the other, unknown body shop is ran by an illegal immigrant. Anyways, June 20th ***** and I signed a contract with ***** saying all rideshares would be deducted from labor and labor would be reduced to 300 as well. On June 21 I was sent an email saying I owe them $1700 (more than original quote) within 24hours or theyll file theft of services. I saw this email on July 30, paid the $1700 on July 31 because I thought it was done. This payment was requested IN CASH almost a month ago. Ive been lied to countlessly in this 4.5 months. On august 18 I finally asked for the release of my car. I didnt get it until the 25th at which point it had been reported stolen. It looks almost exactly the same as when I dropped it off in April minus body work that had been done that I explicitly did not request. No parts i paid for are in the car for new mechanic. When i asked about labor refund youre the expert. Ive been verbally abused. Direct quote from ***** about my car Ill burn that ********* to the ground. These people dont deserve a business!!! Its despicable to continually lie about progress while dragging me along while I suffer mentally and financially.

    Without a doubt, the absolute worst experience that I've had involving repairing my car! I brought it back into them for the exact same problem I took to them for in the first place. I only brought it back because of the supposed warranty I had from them fixing it the first time. I figured since it was the exact same problem, they would take a look at it because of the warranty. Not only did they charge me for the exact same diagnostic, but the diagnostic charge was higher then the first diagnostic charge they did on my car the first time I took it to them....and it's the same exact diagnostic (according to what they wrote on my receipt). The diagnostic charge the second time, was higher than the first time I took it up there, but they did less work the second time. Also, I understand that labor is usually the majority of the ****. However, it seemed as if the labor costs at this place were outrageously higher. So I checked with 3 other mechanics, and they all told me that the labor cost that was being charged was absolutely ridiculous! And beware new customers. Even though they can accept ALL forms of payment, they only accept cash, debit or credit from new customers. However, if you have already spent thousands doars with them (which I actually have), then they will accept any form of payment. So basically, if I came in there with a check as my form of payment, they would flat out tell me no. However, if somebody that has been coming there for more than a few years, came in RIGHT after me, and offered the same check, then they would take it. I have the text messages to prove it as well. So they pick and choose the customers they want to accept certain forms of payment from. Which I dont believe is a good practice, because what if that new customer had plenty of other business to bring you??? Now, although their Administrative assistant, ******, was super nice and very kind, *******************************, which I believe is the owner of the shop, was one of the most unprofessional people that I've ever ran into. As we're trying to explain certain things to him, in a respectful tone I might add, he is pretty much brushing it all off, while his assistant actually tries to explain and actually answer our questions. He literally told me and my colleague, "there's the door bruh. You can leave!!" Constantly interrupting me and saying stuff under his breath, as I'm trying to talk to the assistant about certain things. I will absolutely never go there again, and I strongly suggest others stay away.

I believe we need to clarify how our Commercial and Corporate System operates so you can have a better understanding of what our Policy is concerning our V.I.P. Customers. Our Policy states that our Commercial and Corporate have extended privilege's concerning different payment methods, that includes checks, credit card, debit card, venmo, paypal, or cash app. We know you have only been with us a couple of visits on April 14, 2021 and November 23, 2021 spending under the ***** ****, and since the pandemic the labor rate has gone up from $125.00 to $130.00. Your Diagnostic fee went up $8.00 since April, and that's because of the inflation cost around the world. Our work at Austin Car Care is based on Integrity and Professionalism, we are not the mechanic on the corner with a wrench and a tool throwing out low cut prizes. We have a Nationwide Warranty on any work we complete, and our word is our bond.
