I pulled in for an oil change. I was instructed to stay in my car and pop the hood. The manager was a bday over too the left of the bay my car was in and she yells across the garage to the man working on my car (10 seconds after my car hood was up) to "get that lady's coolant changed". I wondered how she was able to discern what my car need when she was in a different bay. 10 mins later I was informed that my coolant needs to be flushed. I told him to go ahead after he explain what that was. After he flushed my coolant he instructed me to start the car and rev the engine to **** rpms. I did so. The engine continued to rev even after I took my foot off the gas. I was getting an offer heat warming on the dashboard. He told me to turn the car. He said he needed to reflush the coolant. To my understanding, he repeated the process. The car continued to have warning lights on the dashboard. After he couldn't figure out why the manager came over and instructed me to get out of the car and she took my place in the driver seat. The engine continued to rev on its own without the gas pedal being pressed. After they work on the car I was told all was fixed and the check engine lights were off now. I paid them $110 for this coolant flush and $100 for an oil change. Less than a mile after driving away my check engine light came back on. I drive straight to my trusted mechanic. I explain what happened. He said I wasn't due for a coolant flush after he looked at the car history (services he has proformed). He redid the coolant flush. He said they left air bubbles in the line. So in the end I had to pay him for the coolant flush again.

Do not come. And run away if you are already here.So I stopped at ********** location at Whitestone/RR for a quick oil change before the long trip and besides the oil change they checked air filters, liquids and upsold me radiator fluid flush showing the empty extension tank. I was really confused because the car never showed any engine heat issues. After I left the service the car behaved a bit differently, I know my Q50 and know how the engine and gear switch should run but it was different. However, thought I'm just making up a problem.Other than that everything seemed fine till the moment in a trip that scared me and my 4 year old son: on a highway speed a scratchy and slapping sound appeared, like a tire blowout. I stopped immediately, examined the car and could not find anything. I was blaming myself that I caught something on the road and did not notice, but after we gained speed it happened again. I had to stop again and nothing was wrong. This was a scary and confusing situation with the long trip ahead and the car that apparently has some problems. Anyway, it happened only on the highway speed, so I ******d and went to the closest service. Their mechanic lifted the car in front of me and immediately showed me the reason: the underneath protection was not screwed: in Q50 the plastic part of the gearbox protection hood is screwed to its metal part so on a ***** mph it started bending under the upcoming air pressure, slapped on the metal protection and scratched the pavement. I thought I could face such a contempt to the customer's property somewhere in ************** or ***********, but not in the heart of *****. And I really don't like parts to be stolen from my car even if it's just a bunch of screws. Also mechanic said that most probably they just poured the radiator fluid from my car so that's why I did not have any engine overheating problems with "empty" coolant tank. And apparently I could not leave the service with no coolant in radiator. Unfortunately I do not have any direct proof, except mechanic's words and reviews on ****** saying they imposed radiator flush to some customers. So after I returned home I decided to figure out what is wrong with the engine, it really felt less torquey. I opened the hood first time after service (should have done it before), and guess what: they did not close one of the filter boxes properly: it makes the intake meters to diverge and results in loss of power (Q50 has 2 intakes). After I closed it properly everything went back to normal. So in total: came for oil change, paid 223$ (extra 150 for likely unnecessary service) and left the place with the damaged car. I don't know do they do it intentionally or no, but just beware. You can see the reviews about staff frendliness but cannot be sure what they are doing to your car. I am glad I did not service brakes here, it could be fatal with such an attitude.
