I was working on getting a deal done and sales manager and general service manager reached out to me in text message ( instead of an actual call ) very unprofessional and left me hanging for a whole day sometimes two days to respond to me. They ran my wifes and my credit already and simply pushed me off and not texting me back . I then one day got text from sales person just saying , still have the car here . I have all text messages on record and I even told one manager to leave me alone finally and not bother me , poor service and need to learn how to take care of the consumer. They are still harassing me with text messages , DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HEREReview from John L

We committed to purchase a vehicle for our family and were approved for financing through our credit union. I had confirmed three separate times the vehicle was being held for us while the paperwork was getting processed. Two days later after the sales person returned from a day off I was informed the car had been sold. We really liked the car and now are trying to find the same car. While there are similar models and colors out there it is taking more time and potentially cost more money for shipping as the ones recently found were in a different city. The responsibility the dealership had to us was not upheld and has cost our family grief, time and potentially money. The Covert salesperson said her manager would call to discuss but we have not heard from the manager even after our efforts to follow up. I am not a new customer to this dealership. I have bought one company vehicle and one personal. In all three cases I have had to do considerable follow up. I am finding the lack of professionalism to be a common theme at this organization.Covert Buick GMC Response

This is THE worst dealership Ive ever dealt with and will NEVER return. Ive heard of people being snakes and taking advantage of people but these people at Covert Buick take the cake by a long shot! No idea how these people sleep at night. Total scum. They forced me to add their protection plan after I repeatedly told them I did not want it. Some manager called offering to remove it from my contract but never happened after going back and forth with these people for two weeks and guess what, nothing has been done. They must get incentives for the protection plan add on? If youre broke, just say that! Instead of taking advantage of your customers and feeding them lies like you did me. I do not and will not advise anyone deal with this grimy establishment.Covert Buick GMC Response

I purchased a new vehicle in 2018. I had car problems in 2019. I called the dealership found out I had an extended warranty I didn't ask to purchase. The extended warranty was mailed to me. I talked to the finance manager. Nice asked, "should I have had those extended warranty papers when I left the dealership along with my car purchase papers?" He said, "yes." He suggested I lost the papers. He said he was an honest man. I t9ld him you must became honest and upstanding after I walked out that dealership. After talkimg to him twice no one would take my calls. However, the papers was mailed a year later. This dealership was shady, dishonest, and deceptive. Because of these tactics my car payment was inflated. The sales person and finance team got a higher commission. They wasn't considered about my finances and my family. I believe they have this to other consumers. This is why I contacted my senator, Attorney General, BBB, and some other agencies. I do not want this to happen to others. This happen at a time when my mother became seriously ill. They put money in their pockets. I'm still upset about it. I just had to get a fourth battery and after many repairs. This was it for me. If I knew how easy it was to file these complaints back in 2019. Plus, this car is basically a lemon. I didnt know I could file a lemon law claim against dealership. This has get done within 24 months and limit of ***** miles. I would have taken care of it then. It took me one day. If you have been had unfair practices from a dealership file all the complaints you can with certain agencies immediately. This is an honest statement. The dealerships are hoping as consumers we will give up. If you look up information right when incidents happen. This will allow a better solutions to protect your rights as consumers. Please look up Demand Letter before taking any legal actions. Yes. dealership can be sued in the **************. Know your rights & do your research.Review from Chris C

The salesman ***** promised that the vehicle would be ready to go by a particular time considering I was driving in from ***********. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was not ready. In fact, I had to wait 5 hours for ***** to remove the illegal window tint that he said would not pass inspection. (That should have been done before the vehicle was even listed for sale.) I asked ***** to have the windows re-tinted to a legal tint, the tint he installed incorrectly had a visible tear in the middle of the window. He also said the vehicle would be detailed inside and out. That was a lie. There were many stains throughout to include the disgusting seatbelts. After finally receiving the vehicle, 5 hours later. ***** decided to tell me about a safety feature that this particular vehicle has that turned out to be a $2,000 mechanical issue. Something tells me he knew exactly what was wrong with the vehicle and decided to disguise the issue as a safety feature. ***** did all of this after finding out that I was a disabled veteran. He said he was a veteran as well and that he would take care of me.Moving on to ******, the finance guy. You really have to read through your paperwork. ****** signed me up for multiple warranties and contracts without first discussing them with me.Last but not least, I bought this vehicle on July 14th, 2023, and have yet to receive my registration. I reached out to the title and registration office at the dealership to follow up, and I was told my file was incomplete. (Im not sure why they hadnt reached out to me sooner to have this situated.) Turns out, ***** the salesman never placed a copy of my inspection in my registration file to complete the process. I have sent a copy of the inspection, and have not heard back from anyone in over a week and I have tried to call several times with no answer from the title and registration office of this dealership. Amazing they promote family and ******** care but when I wanted to order a new GMC Ukon Denali they were bragging that I could order and pay 15% over list because they could complete the order better than any other dealer. Wow when during a hurricane everyone complains about overcharging for gas ! Greed price gouging from Covert but guess what I will never buy from them again. It's been nearly 3 months that I submitted a cancelation request and I've had it with the finance department here. I've been working with the finance director who keeps asking the accounting department to "track down payment". I've been patient - but there's no patience left.When signing for the new vehicle, they even had a customer relations person come in and say thanks for purchasing and we hope to take good care of you. Well, I have her cc'd on my email requests and sad to say I'm still waiting for my checks.To show how they handle information - I was added to an email thread with customer information that wasn't me. If you value your personal information...well, you know.I even added the ** to try to get some attention to my situation - but he never chimed in.At this point in time, I'm seeking a full refund for the remaining warranties that remain unpaid to me.Covert Buick GMC Response

I received a safety recall on my Cadillac SRX and called to get the scheduled service, due to their limited driver availability I arranged an appointment 3 weeks out. The morning of my scheduled appointment I received not 1 but two 'Your appointment has been cancelled, if this is incorrect please call,,,, I called the phone was picked up; then hung up.This is not my first bad experience with Covert; last year they quoted me $3000+ to fix my radio. ******* ******** in ******* did it for $200.Covert Buick GMC Response

The 'business' indicated the parts had not come in and ******** would call when they arrived. I have received another notice for Cadillac corporate to get my car serviced. I left a voicemail today, 11/30/2021.Review from Courtney M.

Ac condenser are a known disaster for the 2015 escalade as well as the radiator as well as the *** as well as the long range cruise control. Total rip off! Had all these problems and my vehicle isn't even 7 yrs old. Oh yea not to mention my sensors are not consistent or my stability tracker, and to add insult to injury believe my transmission slipping!
