Incompetent staff that was going make me take a shower in a apartment that was empty except for the dead Roaches on floor that was not even on my floor because maintenance came up to fix clug in pipes and plumbing so old it calapsed in wall . I payed to live like this for over a month and just got a100.00 cleaning bill from the trash that run this nasty,black mole,and Roaches all over the whole building.Mayflower apartments, *************************************************************************If you use drugs this might be the place for you.I don't have to worry about any of that trash moving to my new apartments because they do background checks and costs alot more,you get what you pay for. A staff that is alright with you not having a working shower for over a month in your apartment is not worth giving them 1 star . I even tried reaching out to main branch in *********** but didn't get a call back but that is how you get D- from BBB! Give them the * they have earned!Review from Heather S

I have been in a MO rental for 2 years, responds quickly, maintenance on time, pest control monthly, friendly employees, great manager.Besides normal complaints I have about hearing neighbors, ( Which I don't bother reporting) you have to expect some of that when In an apartment. It's peaceful 90 % of the time. I've lived in several places in my life, & this is in my top 3.Review from Tiffany G

*********** APARTMENTS IN ***********!!I typically wait until I move from the property to leave a review, BUT If I could give this place NEGATIVE STARS - I absolutely would! Ive been here about 9 months. When I first got an ************** I was promised an apartment in front right next to the pool. Then I was told it flooded and they gave me the one above it. I waited 3 weeks for them to have it ready, and again something happened to that one as well. So then I got moved to the apartment I currently have. Its been the absolute worst!! There is consistent water problems! The water is always being turned off due to a leak, however its funny that reviews over 2 years ago have the same issues. Then when the water finally gets turned back on you have no hot water for days! When you complain and make maintenance requests it doesnt get taken care of for weeks and the repairs only work a few days until the water is turned back off. There were damages in my apartment when I moved in but every single time I turned the issues into the staff it was NEVER taken care of. These apartments are absolutely infested with roaches and mice no matter how much you clean! Ac and heat problems when you need it the most! Staff entering your apartment with out consent. When I finally snapped and brought these issues up to management I got nothing but an attitude and excuses saying that the issues were already taken care *** *********** staff has even said that the managers and office staff do not communicate with them. The managers are too busy socializing and partying to deal with issues. After asking for someone above property management level I was given the office number for **** which after three calls and voicemails - still have not been answered! I will also be contacting housing authority to file a complaint. Next review is for ****! DO NOT GET AN **************!!Review from DARA T

I have been attempting to contact corporate headquarters due to unfair leasing practices and mistreatment by their new property manager. All i want to do is discuss the issue with a supervisor and resolve the issue. The numbers I was given are not answering and the property manager(Lake) at Willow **** has been avoiding contact with me.Review from Lyn D

I'd give them ***** stars if it was an option. They are the worst. Don't care about tenants. Charge you fines, fees, nickle and dime you, hire the rudest most unprofessional staff, and behave as if providing what we pay for is a burden. The ones at ******** Ventana at Midtown are the absolute worst I have ever experienced. Things get shut off due to construction or terrible maintenance. Do we get a refund when the pool or elevators don't work for months? No! They are remodeling and trying to run off tenants that have lived here for years so they can raise the rent significantly. Greedy (a lot of curse words)! I'm literally moving right now, and I hope new and current tenants will voice their concerns and displeasure with ALL of them. All tenants I know are moving or already have. Really the WORST place I've ever lived, EVER, bc of **** and their (curse words) staff. Don't live anywhere **** is managing or owns. I promise you'll hate it and all of them after 1 month or less. As you can see, the reviews here on BBB are exactly like mine, regardless of where they live. So, it's like that with ANY **** managed properties. The manager here is the rudest (curse word) I have ever experienced.Review from Dakota A

Currently a resident at the landing apartments. I have been a resident for roughly 2 months now and have been having major problems with the A/C in my apartment. I have went to the front office multiple times letting them know whats going on with my A/C and put in multiple work orders to get it even looked at but obviously I want it fixed. They claim its a brand new A/C unit and fixed/re did all the duct work, new filters and etc for our apartment but I highly doubt thats true at this point due to the fact my apartments A/C BARELY blows out at all and sits around 85 degrees and wont get much lower. My apartment hit 90+ this weekend.. The A/C constantly runs 24/7 cause its so hot in here and I just got my electric **** for the month and is over $300.. for a small apartment.. I know home owners dont even pay that much for an electric ****. This has been going on since the day I moved in and the maintenance people have only come to my apartment 1 time since Ive been here. The front office just keeps telling me to get black out curtains and that they will send maintenance people and to fill out a work order and etc but never actually doing anything to fix the problem. They wont even give/allow me to get a window unit for my apartment. This is just getting beyond ridiculous at this point and I am super tired of this s***** living condition. All I want is my A/C to work properly and all the other problems Ive found with the apartment wouldn't even matter anymore. So ridiculousReview from Janine D

I currently live in a property they just bought, called Lakes Of Margate, I requested to see if they can take my new voucher going forward, which the previous company told me they didn’t mind, but Unfortunately they sold the property to Lynd before I could make the change, so I sent the documents to office staff and asked them to check with corporate about 2 weeks ago due to time sensitivity, but I never got an answer, you can call the office phone and good luck if you get an answer from them, so I went to the office yesterday and I woke to a woman,who was so rude and I felt belittled and frustrated that I decided that I rather move elsewhere and never deal with these people ever again, to be honest being disrespectful to your residents is not right because once you drive everyone out how do you expect to keep a job? These apartments are already roach infested and no pest control whatsoever, ride office staff who doesn’t seem to enjoy their job but probably there for only a paycheck. I sent my email/notice to vacate right before this BBB review. I wouldn’t recommend Lakes Of Margate to an enemy, worst place I lived so far. I see why most of the units are empty.
