      I (family of 4 with 10 & 12 yr old boys) rented "***********" at ************, ** from **** to ****. We arrived on the 15th and opened the door to the rental and the stench of ******************** filled the air. We immediately walked out of the rental knowing that we were unable to stay 4 nights in the unhealthy condition the rental was in. I immediately called x3 , sent a maintenance request via the website and sent a message via ******** messenger - As of now, (5:38 on 7/17/23) I have yet to receive a call or notification back. My husband called on the 15th also, left a message, and they called 'him' back - not me, even though, I am the one on the rental agreement, credit card etc.. very unprofessional. The young lady told him to go back to the rental, open all the windows, and they would bring febreze or an air wick by. Seriously ?! Husband called them back today to speak to a manager, and the young lady on the phone said no manager was available at (Monday the 17th at 12:36 pm) and that they have a 30 day no refund policy and they cannot do anything. I thought going through a smaller organization would offer a more custom touch as well as supporting a local organization vs. going to the other acronym rental options.. My mistake. We had to stay in a hotel the first night and used an acronym rental option for another 2 nights. Very disappointing and still waiting for a manager to speak with me.

      This is untrue we spoke to the Guest multiple times and personally went over to the unit and did not smell any pot smoke. No refund was given nor will be given because the home was clean and ready for guests.

      Rented a Vacation rental from *********************** called ****** Azul at *****************. checked in Friday to Sunday. we arrived to a dirty pool with debris, dead ***** in the house. Called property mgmt, sent out maintenance who stated really couldn't do anything about this other than picking up the dead ***** and putting in the trash can. Saturday pool still dirty another ***** found in the kitchen area and another one in the living area that made its way underneath the sofa bed.... GROSS! The pool had several black spiders inside the pool and crawl around the outside patio furniture and along side of pool. Owner of the house had a broken small pool net that didn't work. Property mgmt's maintenance stated pool was ok to get in, pictures will show and speak for its complain. Property mgmt offered $290.62 credit when I paid $16XX.**, no one called us back since we had called to mention all complains and maintenance said it was out of their hands to do anything... You're better off renting a 2 to 3 star hotel on the island, with no roaches or spiders... They make sure everything is suitable for you to enjoy the stay instead of trying to enjoy your vacation on a high end dollar vacation rental thats shows unprofessionalism and wants to provide your clean fee reimbursements!

      This is BEACH VIEW 54 - https://www.visitporta.com/************-vacation-rentals/beach-view-54-elevator Below is a copy of one of my emails sent to management. They have sent two identical replies with the same response offering me a one-time $250 credit and a "Free Nights Stay" on a future visit. Obviously, we won't be staying with them again.Thank you for your reply. I am very disappointed. My expectation for our stay in PortA was not for service that went above and beyond. I merely expected your management team to provide what was promised in the listing and through our correspondence. Below is a list of how the bare minimum was not met:-Promised unobstructed views of the beach/ocean from all balconies through the listing verbiage and through the pictures (both were inaccurate). From all balconies, except for the unfurnished 4x5 foot rooftop, we are looking at the back of a construction sight (it appears the new home is close to complete, which means this construction is not a surprise). As previously stated, I rented this home and was comfortable with the rent based on what I valued and was promised in the listing. Obviously you have no control over new construction, but your listing and price should be updated to give your guests accurate information. Given the location of the home, lack of views, and comparable home rental prices, I would have been comfortable paying 80% of what what we paid for the nightly cost. Had the listing been accurate, I would not have rented this home to begin with. (In regards to the listing, I would be sure to clarify with "minimal ocean views" instead of "unobstructed ocean views from all levels." I would also update the aerial pictures or remove them. They are very misleading.) -Beds were not made.-The home was not thoroughly cleaned; dirty linen items in master bath, trash on the balcony -Roaches in the bunk room -Fleas on the master bed comforter ******* coffee maker carafe -Lack of response to communication
