    I was referred to ****** by a close family friend from ******. ****** told me that his prices were either 150/hr or a flat fee but ****** refused to give me a flat fee price so I took the hourly rate. After showing up at the storage unit, my husband helped his guys load everything ** in his truck. When he arrived at the location 25 min away (3hours and 20 minutes after they started) he told my husband the fee for one truckload was $1500 and he said, I have to have some of that in cash or you can use Zelle. After a debate about the hourly rate and a speaker call with the family friend who got onto ****** for trying to s**** us over, he said he would give us a deal. After I got off the phone, ****** wanted $1100 cash. My husband told him that he wants to see how many hours it would take at $150/hr. ****** said that him and his guys would start taking breaks and smoking cigarettes if wewanted to do hourly. When my husband expressed his disapproval of the passive-aggressive idea, ****** said to not even effing pay him and that he would pay his guys and we could have our stuff moved for free. His guys kept working and my husband helped them place items inside. When they finished right at 5 hours, ****** wanted 850 cash. 5 hours of work with $100 for a fuel charge. After going to an ATM, my husband only had 813 which we gave him. He called my husband disrespectful and said he never cussed once when he was called out on the wrong rates and that he never cusses period. My husband told him that a receipt was needed for my work to partially reimburse us for the move. We sent him my email address that evening and havent heard back from him in days. This guy seems like he is hiding money from the *** with shady practices and telling customers he needs some cash for every transaction. I told my friend who already had him scheduled to move the following week and he cancelled and went with a more professional company. Do NOT use this company!!

    In response to the review given here, we have come to the realization that there were miscommunications and assumptions during the transactions.In reference to the form of payment, our company has a policy of either cash, cashier's check, credit card (with fees) and recently the application of Zelle as payment. We do not deal in personal checks unless we have pre-approved that method of payment and exceptions have been in the case of repeat customers, but again, only upon approval. Cash, cashier's check, credit card and Zelle are our accepted method of payment because of past issues that can result from a personal check. In regards to the issue of the amount charged, each household is different in what is required for their particular move. In this case there was an assumption of a rate given to a previous customer who required 1 driver and 2 men that was assumed to apply to this move. In order to get this move done we arrived with 1 driver and 3 men. The customer was not to take part in this move. The amount of the men required to move the items in a timely manner contributed to the cost difference that the customer assumed would match his friend's rate. Again, each move has different requirements.To address the conversations that occurred, profanity was not part of the language used. Some words, such as "Forget it", which was what was said when the customer was wanting to set the cost of the move, was interpreted as the *** word when in actuality "Forget it" was what was said. At this point we were ready to proceed and complete the move. Everyone was working hard toward finishing and not slowing down. There was no threat to take breaks. This was to point out that if the rate was hourly some crews would have slowed down and taken breaks, which we did not. Again, miscommunication.We reached out for the email address by text because we had not received it. Our last communication with this customer was regarding a certain box that they were looking for and later found after being advised where to look. A text with an email address has not arrived in our text messages and we will respond as soon as we receive it Lastly, as was addressed by the customer, the charges were $850 but the customer chose to pay only $813 stating that was all they had. The original charge included an elevator and long carry. In the end the customer paid only what they wanted to pay.

    I will lead with this EVERYTHING WAS RECORDED ON THE RING DOORBELL CAM; from needing to accept some cash, to using the f-word, to ****** pointing in my husbands face raising his voice after my husband told him that his two friends he referred to ****** (one was already scheduled) were going with other movers. To be fair, my husband cursed and raised his voice after that. If you want to keep playing games, I can post the videos online and tag the company and there wont be a dispute. I just went over the videos, and Ive found discrepancies in your story. All we need is a receipt and it can end there.
