I would have to say that my company has had a completely different experience. Fourlane has been more than helpful. No, they are not cheap, but good service and knowledgeable people are not cheap. You get what you pay for. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with QuickBooks!!!!Review from Kyle C

I've been using Fourlane for years!! They helped me convert my data over to QB enterprise from an old system. And I use them several times a year to help with QB questions that my CPA's don't know how to do. **** and all of the team at Fourlane has been a lifesaver for the small business man that needs to do big company things on a small company budget. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Do not use this company. Our experience was the same as everyone below. I wish we would have read these reviews first. They charged $999 to "review our file" and told us originally that the total fee would be somewhere between $2k-$8k depending on the amount of customization needed for the report. Then, in our 3rd meeting, that price suddenly jumped to $17k for an single spreadsheet and $40k for a "full custom report". I questioned how much effort would go into creating the spreadsheet and one of them blurted out, "Roughly ***** minutes on our end." They literally wanted to charge us $17k for 15 minutes of their time, and did not offer a reasonable answer for where the rest of the fee came from. Despite their outrageous quote, I actually tried to follow up with them and they haven't responded or called back. They literally took our $999, offered nothing of value to us, tried to majorly rip us off, and now turned into ghosts. Again, stay away from this company.Review from Paul G

I have always been nervous about companies where the reviews looked staged, and the marks are just a little to high. This was the case with Fourlane, beware of this company!We are a medical tech company from ******** and have had the worst experience with this accounting firm. They run on sales, not service. So once the contract is signed- you are an afterthought. I had my personal accountant call in sick for the first month and never contact me again. I asked for the "back up" account manager for my company, and it got a little better for about one week, than completely disappeared for months with zero results. It has been months and I as a business owner am fed up, I would never treat my customers this way or I wouldn't have any at the end of the day. Stick with a larger company, Fourlane is a non-responsive disaster.Review from Carrie D

Beware! My client hired Fourlane to convert its file from QuickBooks Online to ********************* in the cloud. There was first a revolving door of meetings with reps promising the job could be done. After paying a substantial fee $18,000 in addition to multiple people attending numerous Zoom meetings the data file was converted and much info was missing. The client had to 86 the conversion. This endeavor was a total waste of time. Fourlane made out, my client lost big time. Please do not hire this company.Review from B. N.

I hired this company to help figure out a problem i have with Quickbooks. They charged upfront $999 to begin talking to me. Then they get access to my QuickBooks and called me to inform that I need to pay $13,000 to be able to correct my QuickBooks! this is outrageous!!! I told them Couldn't afford it and they kept my $999 paid upfront. They wont even answer my emails to request a refund. I wouldn't recommend this company.Fourlane Response

****** we spoke with you for free several times. What you paid $999 for was a complete review of your company file and a report listing all the areas that were incorrect, broken or not efficient. We gave you that report so you can either DIY your fixes, or you can contract us for the work. I am sorry that we charge to fix your QuickBooks but we are a consulting firm. You would be welcome to see if Intuits free support can help you and you have no obligation to work with an outside consulting firm.Customer Response

Hello: you spoke to me two times. The first call one less than one hour and I told you again what I had already told you when we entered the agreement. Second call we talk about again about your findings which confirmed what we already talked the first call. Your company charge me $999 just to tell me the problems with my file that I already knew and did NOTHING to help, except try to charge $13,000 to correct my file. Bad service I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody unless you want to throw away $999 for nothing. Basically they wont do anything for $999, unless you pay them outrageous amount to actually work on your file.Review from Lynne H

We paid $1,000 for a consultation that was to go towards the repair of a data file. We called for help with repairing a corrupted quickbooks file and they were unable to help. We found out the next day they charge our card $20,000.00 in advance for work that was not authorized. They said they will issue a refund, however have not yet seen it. We may need to file a dispute with American Express. We do not recommend this company. Buyer beware.Fourlane Response

***** we reached out to you to remove this post, but you choose not to. You authorized the payment, and then when you changed your mind the next day we immediately reversed the charges. Your credit card company takes 2-3 days to process and then up to 7 days for the refund to show. You have confirmed with us in writing that you received your refund but have chosen to leave this complaint.
