      Im a teacher, single mother, and paid Radiant $14,500. My thermostat resets itself as high as 90 degrees. Radiant has treated me in unconscionable ways at every level. Ive spoken to 4 *******s and now the **. Email correspondence between me (******) and ******, the supervisor of the first ******* Ive gone above, simply seeking empathy, respect, and help. ******: I'm exhausted by this situation, by continuing to have to retell this story again and again, by the lack of empathy and expediency. In addition to the constant resetting of the temps, tonight I thought there was a fire in my home. I ran for my child and to get outside, only to realize it was my thermostat. Now it's turning on the heater. ******: Since I last emailed you my heater has overridden my AC 4 times. This is getting worse! ******:Please call me tonight. ******: I'm sorry I'm eating dinner and watching a film. Is there an issue with your new thermostat? ******:Yes. It's set to 74 and the temp in my home is 83 in my home but please don't let me disturb or disrupt your evening. Send me to your boss. You're clearly too busy to be bothered. My daughter and I will just sit here and sweat.Maybe consider not acknowledging the situation after work hours if you're unwilling to help. Enjoy your dinner and film. ******: ******, For a more efficient resolution to your service needs, please reach out to Customer ********************** Representatives by phone. We have an afterhours team available to assist with late night concerns. Please note that I am not required to work or respond outside of regular hours.       Hvac under warranty but technician said it was my fault and had to pay for service call. Also said he fixed the problem, but the problem came back. Another company actually located and fixed the issue, and it was entirely different from what the Radiant technician said. Radiant isn't trustworthy.

      Radiant started the replacement of my sewer line between my home and the Georgetown ********* the later part of November. When the ditch was dug, they did not **** the location of the existing sprinkler system that they had to cut. After the repair they repaired only one side of each cut line, so the sprinkler system would not feed several sprinklers. Radiant sent out a plumber to do the repair, but he gave up and said he could not fix it. I was then authorized to have Georgetown Irrigation locate the problem and make the repairs. I paid Georgetown Irrigation $400 for their work and forwarded the bill to Radiant for reimbursement. This was on December 15, 2023. After several contacts and promises of payment, I finally received a check on Feb. 2, ****. This company does not follow through with their promises. I found out that they have been bought out and no longer individually owned. I do not recommend them to anyone.

      They did not show up for appointment I made because they had called day before and I did not return call. I drive all day and do not hear phone *** get home late. I waited for them the next morning and they did not show. I called they said since I didnt call back they dont show. They also said they sent me a text the morning of appointment, which I did not receive. I asked for a refund of the package I paid for. The representive was rude and talked over me, said she would put in for refund but still havent heard anything

      Beware of scare tactics. I had blockage in my pipes to the point that the toilets and showers were gurgling all over the house. Radiant sent a plumber out to scope the pipes. The plumber then claimed that he couldnt get the camera past a root ball. He then cleared it out just enough to where the job wasnt complete. After paying $867, long behold, I received an ************ for $65,000 and the other for $95,000. I hired another plumber to come out for a second opinion. He pulled out two root ***** and said I was good to go for at least another 6 months to see how it holds up. With a company this large, I expected them to stand behind their work. But later found that they use scare tactics to scare you into a bigger job. This is not an ethical company and would not recommend them to anyone.

      Exhorbitant fees - $14 per minute for under-sink installation We were first quoted over $1300 to replace an under-sink hot water dispenser we provided that cost $250 to install before with another company but which had started leaking due to lime. The plumbing and electrical outlet were already in place, and this is a do-it-yourself job for anyone who has any plumbing knowledge. When I said we couldnt afford it, the plumber checked "with the office" and cut the price by half. I later learned that another plumber would have done it for about $350-$400another 30% less from what we were charged. But we could not take another day off in a situation where the appliance was leaking. During the same visit, a similar thing happened regarding sink faucet replacement where the price was lowered about 40% when I said it was far higher than expected. I calculated that the plumber was there for about 90 minutes and made $14 PER MINUTE. When I wrote the company about these unprofessional practices, their representative called me to say the pricing stands. This is how they treat repeat customers.

      Stay away from this company. The management is only out to make quick money. They charge high prices and the technicians are not allowed the time for good work.I hired Radiant for A/C maintenance and was happy with the routine service. When I had to replace two *********** I hired Radiant despite their quote was 50% higher than competitors. I didn't get the excellent work promised as the justification for the high price. The technicians had to replace both systems in one day instead of the explained two days. The ducts were connected in the easiest way, not the proper way. When I didn't accept the work a quality control technician inspected the work and agreed with my complaints. Nothing happened for two month and then Radiant called and insisted that the work was done correctly (Radiant are the experts to decide, not me) and unless I pay the final amount same day the invoice would go to collection.The fact that one system failed after a month due to a badly made wire connection and actually was incorrectly wired didn't make Radiant reconsider their claim for having provided excellent work.

      Radiant charged us 17K for a 7K job replacing a sewage grinder pump. They refused to give us a receipt for parts and labor. We were in crisis mode with out of state family flying in that day and they took advantahe of us. Our neighbors had the same service provided for 7K with ****** Plumbing.

      One star is being generous. I spent $15k on a brand new unit indoor and outdoor a year ago and tech came by late in the day and "fixed" the issue and it'ds 10 pm same day and my family is sitting in effing heat! Radiant has a late night service answering calls but no one to call for AC tech to come by. So what is the point of after hours service call? Ridiculous!!! Definitely do not recommend this company. They absolutely ****. They take their company and leave customers out in the heat!!! Now I have to rent hotel rooms for me and family to escape the heat!!!....slow clap! Bravo. Now I'm taking my vent repair and water heater service to a other company!!!
