Last year I installed a complete system which came to around $10k. Service techs are GREAT! They were fast, professional, and clean. 6 months later come the shysters. The guy comes out for the first of our "free" checkups. He gets done and says I need a soft starter at a cost of about $600. I tell him that the entire system is brand new if it needs this new equipment why would it not come with it? Humming and hawing. I call the customer **********************. Same BS. 6 months later another tech who was also very polite and professional show up, completes the checkup and says she recommends a surge protector at a cost of $400. Same question, same non answers. After each visit they have you sign a "receipt" that indicates your refusal of recommended service. Which I am sure they will use against you if something goes wrong. The install of my AC unit was a complete disaster! They first angled the slope wrong and cause water damage to my home. We now have found a new issue, during the install, The supply was taped and not spliced correctly with a collar therefore 50% of our air has been going into and cooling our attic. I now have the company's manager *****, telling me that although we have a 10 year warranty, we must have gone up there, taken off the collar and taped it ourself. I do not expect them to do anything with the duct work as it is covered under my home owners, however because the collar was missing, I asked the company to pay 50% of my electric bills. The company's manager ***** called and was extremely disrespectful, continued to talk and not listen to anything I or my husband said which of course angered us. With having a 10 year warranty, we have absolutely no reason to go up there. I am very concerned about their intentions to actually help people. I initially chose them because I thought they were an established company. This AC unit is paid off, and I will never ever recommend their services. I hope this never happens to anyone else. This is my home, my childhood home I took over, and for this company to cause this much of a disaster, is terrifying.
