    Scheduled online 8 days before to have problem fixed and recalls. Got to dealer, could not find my appointment, had not ordered any of the parts needed. Received call hours later with quote: near $700 for $40 part and 2 hours labor by any other mechanic. Recall was tailgate - wiring harness moisture causing gate to randomly open. Eventually shorted switch out. Didn't have harness, said switch was not covered, but they 'found' 1 and put in so it would work for over $300. Switch is $10, 8 screws on gate, unplug, push snap button out, reverse process - $10 part and 15 minutes of labor for bargain price $300+. Told them don't service, I'll shop around. Clerk, for the first time, decided to tell me $145 diagnostic charge for tailgate (the recall) not other problem. I said let me know when truck is ready. 5 hours later haven't heard back, so called - after filing complaint with Ford. Clerk said tech said it would be more hassle to remove switch I didn't even request replacement, just the recall harness, so they left it, and she told me it's just a $10 part, but they won't charge me for it. I told her thanks for letting me know after 7 hours I can finally get my vehicle after I called them. Terrible customer service. Did not disclose any diagnostic charge at any time or on their website. I had **** license plates while working in georgia, so I feel I was taken advantage of. I paid the bill despite no disclosure, and nothing actually fixed including a total of two recalls that they didn't have parts for. This is exactly why people will not trust a dealer service shop. I have been posting this review on every social media site as well as the BBB so hopefully I can warn others to stay away from such unethical business practices as Phil Brannon Ford. They don't deserve to represent **** ***** ******* in any way, and hopefully the shady, insidious way they run a business will catch up to them with some legal consequences in the near future.
