We rented a house for our vacation from November 5 through the 15th. Upon arrival we noticed there was dust everywhere.. stains all over the carpet in every room. Dirt under the couch, mold and old coffee in the coffee pot, the washer and dryer were dirty. There were roaches in the fridge, ants all through the house. The one bathroom could not be used due to bugs coming from the bathtub. The pool was dirty. The hot tub was not hot and did not work. The water in the kitchen smelled. The main bedroom toilet was not working. Dust all over the vents and ceiling fans. There was a buzzing noise coming from the alarm that would not shut off.. and there was mold on the shower curtain. We stayed for 4 nights after trying out best to clean certain areas but the bug infestation was uncontrollable. We tried talking with the property management who tried offering $180. I asked for at least $500 and they told us to leave. We had to find a new place within minutes. They are charging us a cleaning fee but the place was filthy when we arrived. I would like at least the cleaning fee returned to us since we did not dirty the place. I attached photos but we also have video proof if needed.
