I tried to leave a review here but it wont accept my name. I would NEVER hire this business again. They gave us an estimate to install a patio and sidewalk then to add pavers to the driveway to make it wider. They were to mix the driveway pavers so that they would blend in. Well that didnt happen and we left with a strip of new pavers up the middle of the driveway. It looked awful. We had to pay more to get it fixed. Then they took up the old pavers and without asking loaded them into a trailer. Our neighbors asked what we were doing with them and we said you can have them ( they were ours NOT Pinnacle Pavers). They didnt ask us what WE wanted to do with them. Then they installed the new pavers on the driveway. There was several pallets left and they proceeded to load them up with the intention of taking them. We had to go out and stop them. HOWEVER they didnt give us back the ones already loaded. As if that wasnt enough a month later we received a letter from the company who sold them the pavers and they told us that the bill had not been paid and they were going to put a LIEN on our house!!! We finally got it straight but you couldnt PAY ME to hire them again. Buyer beware of them.

Were so sorry to hear about this customers experience. We work really hard to make sure our customers are satisfied and can see the value in our work. When we left the job site both homeowners spoke positively to us about us and seemed very happy with the finished product. This project was installed in July of 2022. That was 25 months, or over 2 years ago. This is the first feedback we received. We really wish the customer had reached out to us. Our work comes with a full warranty to cover any issues and on a personal level we pride ourselves on being easy to work with. When adding new pavers to an existing paver installation it is important to blend or mix some of the old with the new. Due to sun fading and dye lots, the color will never match perfectly, so the goal is to blend and camouflage the new to old seam. This job scope was to pick up an approximately 24 wide band of the old pavers in the driveway and blend with the new during the drive extension installation. That was done. If the seam is still visible, then unfortunately that color variance was more noticeable than typical. In ******* it is common to wash in joint sand as the last step in the installation, so the pavers are wet when we finish. We didnt see any issues during the installation, but often in certain light and wet pavers, it can be tough to see. The customer didnt mention anything when our owner picked up the final payment a couple days later. We wish they would have spoken up and we certainly would have addressed any concerns they had. Replacing old pavers with new pavers is a big part of our business. The typical removal is to haul away - that is part of what our customers are paying us for. We cannot use old pavers for anything. We haul them to a recycler or pay to dump them at a landfill. If a customer wants to keep some or all of the old pavers, that is fine. Well happily stack them neatly on the property. We were never asked to keep or stack any of the removed pavers on this job, at least not before we tossed them onto a dump trailer and damaged some of them. Objectively speaking, we dont know what the customer expected us to do with them without them speaking up prior the start of the job. We ended up giving them some new pavers in the place of the old pavers they wanted. In this business, we sell jobs by the square foot. We cannot purchase the exact quantity of pavers. We have to buy in full cubes quantities so there should always be some left over. A significant part of the paver cost is the freight. The freight cost is the same for partial or full truck load. We pay the same freight cost for 12 cubes as 4. So, it is common to add extra cubes to ensure we have plenty now and for future jobs. This does not affect the jobs price for the customer. However, it does lower the freight cost per square foot cost to Pinnacle Pavers. This is a means to lower costs and keep us competitive for everyone. All paver manufacturers send out Lien notices to the installation address. It is a universal construction protocol. The Lien Notice is typically mailed as soon as the pavers are shipped so its odd this customer received the notice a month later. Receiving the Lien Notice has nothing to do with Pinnacle Pavers. This bill was paid on time as all our bills are. We are sorry for the negative experience and the misunderstanding, and we'll try to ask more probing questions to ensure our customers' expectations are met and explain the process in more detail when necessary.
