BEWARE of Kitchen Solvers of Orlando! Our remodel experience was a nightmare. We hired them for a small kitchen remodel starting March 13, 2024, and it wasnt finished until August 9, 2024nearly five months later. Even after being labeled completed, we faced many issues. Owner ***************************** claimed it was the best he could do and threatened a lien on our house if we didnt pay the final 10% despite the issues we experienced, the results we were left with, and the strain it put on us.Mismatched Parts: ***** ordered parts from different vendors, causing mismatched cabinets, doors, and drawers. The white tones didnt match, and skins were poorly used to cover inconsistencies. After being absent for two months, ***** redid much of the work, which remained unsatisfactory.Incorrect Door: ***** ordered the wrong-swinging backdoor and hacked the frame to fit it, saving $1,200 instead of ordering the correct door.Damaged Drawers: We received metal drawers with dings and mismatched interior colors without consultation on options. We were too intimidated by ****** behavior to address these issues.Unsafe Cabinets: The custom cabinets had mismatched grommets for shelf clips, causing instability. We had to use plumbers tape to secure them after ****** failed attempts with various clips.Plumbing Problems: Sink plumbing was done incorrectly by ****** crew, needing a professional plumber to fix it.No Painting: ***** claimed painting the walls and new backdoor wasnt included, which is unusual for a remodel.Unprofessional Behavior: ***** acted unprofessionally, ripping material off our walls in anger when questioned. After paying over $29,000, we were left with unsatisfactory results. ***** dismissed our concerns as nit-picky and threatened a lien if we didnt pay the remaining amount. The national office offered no help. This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing. We hope this review warns others considering Kitchen Solvers of Orlando.

We will not deny that this project wasnt a challenge. The house was built in 1955. Once we started the project, we found several irregularities that prompted some difficulties, the more prominent ones being non-load-bearing walls and the ceiling made of plaster, cloth-insulated electrical wires, and walls, floors, and ceiling out of level. We are truly sorry for these unforeseen challenges and for the logistic delays, as well as for the inconvenience of having to re-due the cabinetry portion of your project a second time, but we just werent satisfied with the quality the first time around and could not in good conscience let it stay that way.Your project is what we call a hybrid due to your preference to keep the base cabinets instead of disposing of them. It was agreed upon to reface your base cabinets and replace only your wall cabinets with ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinet boxes. When doing a hybrid project, we dont guarantee an exact match. What we agreed on, per contract terms, is to mimic the reface and the new cabinets. At the time of your remodel, our operations/project manager had been supervising your project. I also stopped by on occasion to ensure the project was being done to your satisfaction, and you revealed nothing but praise for the associate who was working on the project at the time. I became more involved when the project manager called me asking to go see the refacing because you were not happy. Once I inspected the refacing and the cabinetry portion of your project in general, I was disappointed with the quality of the work. I took it upon myself to redo the cabinetry portion of your remodel.Originally, we had ordered commercial-grade metal drawers to match the metal drawers that were already in the base cabinet that were not supposed to be replaced. There were six existing metal drawers from the base cabinets that were supposed to be reused and not replaced, but according to our associates, were given away with the wall cabinets you gave away. We ended up replacing these six metal drawers as well at no cost to you. Additionally, the shelves from the wall cabinets also disappeared and had to be replaced twice. In the end, all items on the final punch list that you provided were addressed to your satisfaction, including the shelf grommets. We have done everything within our power to try to satisfy your needs at no additional cost to you, including adding overlay filler to the cabinetry in an attempt to please you. However, you did not like it, which is the reason we removed it. We upgraded from ready-to-assemble cabinets to custom-fabricated cabinets at no additional cost to you. We built and rebuilt the shelves on the corner of the wall cabinet, three times, at no extra cost, because you did not like the rounded corners, even though it was on the design drawings and contract. We did your kitchen twice, hence the extension to the eight- to ten-week average timeframe. We have tried within a reasonable way to satisfy your demands, and, yes, it comes to a point when it is no longer feasible. Our goal at Kitchen Solvers of Orlando is to provide all our clients with a pleasant remodeling experience. We dont promise that we wont face challenges. What we promise is that if challenges arise, we will do everything reasonably possible to address and resolve them as best as we can. As our clients expect us to provide the services contracted, we also expect to be paid for the services provided. We have been in business in this area for several years and have many satisfied clients, which speaks to the quality of our services. We are truly sorry that you are not one of them. We wish you the best and hope you enjoy your now-renovated kitchen.
