My ins company recommended Vantage Point after a water leak. The community water heater leaked in to my condo. I had to file on my policy. Vantage Point did an absolutely horrific job. I had tenants arriving and they promised to come back and fix all their blunders when the season was over. I had a false sense of security since my ins company had recommended them. Of course they never came back, at one point they said they would if I paid them an additional 30% even if they were paid in full and they were just suppose to fix their own mistakes. They put in click on hardwood floors. The boards has gaps between them that collects dirt and you can see in between them. They have tiny pieces of 1 inch to half an inch on the most visual points against the wall from measuring wrong. If you step on same of the boards they make a load noise from not being attached correctly. This is a VRBO rental and several of my guests are complaining. I been trying to reach out to both the company and my INS guy but they are both ignoring me. This is a heavy weight on my shoulders. I feel sad every time I look at the floors or think about this. I had another contractor come for an estimate on how to fix this.. He looked horrified and said that they have to come back and fix this mess, the worst floor he had ever seen. He said you have to call BBB and file a law suit! That is why I am reaching out, I don't want to file suit but hope that maybe if you are involved they will fix the floors as agreed on. Or refund me the money to hire someone else. It will still cost me more since the floors now needs to be first removed and then reinstalled. I probably have to buy new floors as well. Not sure if the planks can be reused. I did buy some extra planks for when they were suppose to come back to fix the worst areas. It is only in 1 bedroom and they were paid $3000 for the installation. I paid for the floor boards separately. Can you please advice if there is anything I can do?
